Shy about Selling Lottery Tickets - An Idea!
Just a thought for those having difficulty in selling - And if this not a good idea - TELL ME NICELY
1. Start a thread in this forum to list names of those who want to do lotto but have difficulty selling and call it the MATRIX CLUB or whatever) The Club then divides into groups of say 5 people per group (again whatever)
2. Define Rules of operation. Suppose there are 5 people in a group.
3. Operation - Each of the 5 members is introduced to each other with a Names Order List IE
MY LIST WOULD BE
ME (Can't Purchase from self)
Member 1
Member 2
Member 3
Member 4
Member 1's List is
Member 1 (Can't Purchase from self)
Member 2
Member 3
Member 4
ME
Member 2's List is
Member 2 (Can't Purchase from self)
Member 3
Member 4
ME
Member 1
Member 3's List is
Member 3 (Can't Purchase from self)
Member 4
ME
Member 1
Member 2
Member 4's List is
Member 4 (Can't Purchase from self)
ME
Member 1
Member 2
Member 3
4. Using my List as an example: Whenever I choose to by a ticket I purchase from Member 1, then Member 2 and then Member 3 then Member 4, and so on in rotation. (Never from myself - obviously)
Similarly Member 1, Purchases from Members 2, 3 4 and me in rotation
And so on.
5. Maybe a rule could be to buy 1 ticket minimum per week. I think if you buy more than 1 it should be in rotation through every member in a particular group.
6. Once a matrix is finished, each member in turn takes it in turn to start a new matrix.
Once in a club you abide by the rules till you opt out, there would be no compulsion to buy, but a dormant member in a group may be removed and replaced from a waiting list.
I am basically thinking out loud, so don't flame me just tell me nicely. Maybe the idea can be improved on!
This is an idea just to introduce interested people to each other who are shy of selling. Of course it would need organisation to work properly as does anything. However nothing should be contrary to what Bryan envisages.
Speaking for myself, I have yet to decide if I can afford to do lottery. As they say in Aus, Gamble Responsibly.
Marek if this is inappropriate please delete - Thanks.
