You must really be getting frustrated Bryan. I hope it all goes well for you and you have a merry Christmas. Our Christmas may not be what we had wanted for this year but just imagine what next year will be like. Hope I can finally meet you and Sharon buy you both dinner and a drink a really really stiff drink after all this LOL

Yeah, I can say from a position of personal knowledge; if you're hanging on to the last part of your savings waiting for PIPS money to start rolling in the next couple of weeks, I was right there back in June this year when everything was light in the tunnel getting brighter and all that.
Guess what; I didn't go looking for work like I should have, I didn't contact the bank to work out a plan for the house mortgage like I should have.... I sat by the damn computer waiting for a miracle comeback right up until BNM stepped in, and then some.
What happened? I finally started looking seriously, told myself I need to find a way to make serious money regardless if PIPS comes back this year or not and I NEVER want to depend solely on any program run by someone else ever again. I'm learning how to daytrade myself on my spare time now, and the SW program I found seems to be extremely capable of producing very good ROI, even when trading only a few hours every evening and knowing as little as I do. I'm still learning and haven't put real money in yet though. I know that's different and I don't have that kind of money yet.
Finally in early November I was offered a job, by the grace of YHWH, but by then my house was already in foreclosure and the repayment plan wasn't exactly to die for, so we moved out of the house, back to an apartment. A very sobering and LIVE experience I can tell you.
Do I blame Bryan for any of this?? Of course NOT !!!!!
I, myself, being of sound mind and competence put myself in the situation of counting on future payments coming in on time when I bought the house last year, before all the shit hit the fan. That's an undisputable fact. I gambled and bet all my savings, my professional career and my marriage in one stroke of the pen and by listening to advice from outside myself (the old PIPS forum and forums like this). I can't speak for anyone else what they should do, but I've also learned to listen better to that inner voice and I'm ashamed to say I trusted the blind optimism that's prevalent on any true PIPS forum, when I shouldn't have. It's one thing to be spouting off or heeding ignorant cheerfulness when you have a job, basically just another way to kill some of the 24 hours you have at your disposal every day. It's quite another thing, and truly unwise as I now know, to sit passive, sifting thru 2, 3, 4 forums daily, looking for the last straw that will save your ass. It ain't coming, unless it's written in your stars, in which case you won't know it anyway.
For instance, no job I applied for I was offered. One day I ran into an old workmate who was now a manager. He almost hired me on the spot, without any effort on my behalf. I just told him I was looking. I now think YHWH truly showed me who I really should believe in. I've been a doubter most of my life, mostly because of the filter we call religion, but I've seen too many miracles and "coincidences" this fall to simply throw them by the wayside and call them random.

a nice reminder...Thank you woody  Here's a story to go along.....:nocomment
God knows your name
A good friend of mine once went to visit his brother during a time of deep crisis. His marriage was struggling, his business was near collapse, and his money was drying up quickly. He had just sold his home and moved into a one-bedroom apartment and had no idea how he was going to dig himself out of his financial and relational problems.
My friend listened as his brother confided in him about his deep frustration. "Some days you want to go outside and shake your fist at heaven and say, 'God, why don't you help me?'" his brother said.
My friend looked at his brother in the eye and said somberly, "That wouldn't do any good. He doesn't even know who you are." The two looked at each other for several seconds then burst out laughing. The two brothers had spent their lives trusting God and studying his Word, and the absurdity of the statement left them both in stitches. Years later, the brother told my friend that his joke had brought him a great deal of comfort during his trying time. Even more, it gave him renewed perspective.
We've all felt abandoned by God at one time or another. God cares deeply when we suffer, and he is right there beside us all the time.
At times like these the best thing to do is put your hand in his and trust him with your future. Because he not only knows what you're going through, he knows exactly who you are.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all" (Psalms 34:19). He doesn't keep us out of them. He delivers us from them. Sometimes He changes the circumstances. Sometimes He changes us. The real secret of deliverance is not in witnessing a change in the circumstances around us to our favor, but the assurance and persuasion of faith in Christ that comes only from the time we spend seeking Him for deliverance.
Expect affliction, but be persuaded “God is with us” .
