I read Bryans post this morning and it really does excite me that things are changing. But I was wondering here he is hiring new employees and trying to get everything back. Does this mean the investigation is over? Bryan hasn't said anything about that.

Could go on for a long time if BNM drag it out. BN is the fly in the ointment now.

I just read 2 reports from people interviewed by BN.Both think it will be a long drawn out procedure.

One company is still being investigated after 2 years.They had no member complaints, just one outsider who said it was a scam.

Hope that wont apply to PIPS !

But how can he set up the new program without being cleared? I am vary happy he IS, but how can he be allowed to? But maybe he is "just" preparing the website etc, to be ready to roll the moment BN finishes.
I wish we had at least an idea of how much longer it will be until Bank Negara finishes...

Would think the rest of this year. Bryan's just putting everything in place for when he gets all the servers/paperwork back. All he can do at the moment.

I hope the new system can cope with it all... as many people have (currently) lost money, or missed out on money they were expecting, the first thing that will happen if it comes back online is everyone will start doing WD's to get some cash out straight away.

I'm hope Bryan's thought the WD aspect through properly this time, and will have a solid system in place

I'm sure he's learnt the lesson though so I'm sure all will be good.

And this is what gives us hope, without it being clearly stated. Think about it, why would Bryan even mention new structure, new withdrawal platform, new program, etc. unless he knew he would be released. I have always tried to read between the lines with regards to the limited statements being permitted, so either he is an eternal optimist or knows what we don't yet know, that the investigation has uncovered only minor correctable issues.

Why would you restructure program if you didn't know what the old problems were? Of course, we all know what the main issue was, withdrawals, and if it was proven the problem was caused by HSBC dropping account, and EON being to small to process more than a few, as we were led to believe, then who knows, maybe these issues were proven not to be liquidity issues.

Sure is fun to speculate based on what cannot be said yet, but only one person knows for sure, so we have to wait and amuse ourselves with speculation on tidbits we are fed so far. Sure would be nice to hear just one little word on liquidity issue though. Wouldn't it be comforting to know assets are indeed active in ivestments, or even locked up in some bank accounts for the old credit card fraud issue, or in real estate, or even in Bryan's mattress, I don't care where it is, as long as it exists. Just to know there was millions somewhere would be comforting. (g)

Well, I think for now the important thing is to remain hopeful and hope for the best timewise... I'm not going to get in a frame of mind that it 'could' drag on forever, plus I don't think it will be all 'that' long personally anyway... But anyhow, does anyone know when the investigation began? It's been awhile already, right?.............. :)

I'm wondering if the new "structure/program" will mean we have to basically start over with our own funds - until BN finishes their stuff.... personally, I don't have any funds avaiable to "start" in a new program.... let's hope that he WILL start us our new accounts with what we had leftover from the old PIPS... Of course, if all the funds are frozen, where will the money come from for investing in the new program?
