If it is true, it is not surprising!
If the Post which started this thread is an actual news report, it is entirely understandable.
Anyone who has taken money off people and invested in PIPS on their behalf (myself included) has to accept the possibility of similar action. And you cannot blame the authorities, or the poor investors!
This sort of thing is a natural consequence of the (perceived) failure, probably compounded by excessive marketing, possible greed on the part of the PIPS member, and certainly inadequate communication. Personally I allowed very few people to open new accounts after the program failed to achieve a 20-day payout. And those who did invest had my contrary advice in writing first!
Sadly, the police involvement as posted is a direct consequence of Bryan’s failing to take the very basic steps needed to ensure that, while he set up PICPAY the way he wanted it, the money continued to flow to the investors, albeit not quite as he might wish. The current hiatus was NOT an inevitable consequence of excessive growth, nor of too many trolls. It was a direct consequence of ineffective direction, and the trolls, and police visits etc., stem from that failure, not the other way round. After all, if the investors had been happily receiving their money, even discovering that the real investment was a mere 1.5% per day (or thereabouts, it seems to depend on your maths skills!) would not have sent them running to the local constabulary!
I just hope that Bryan, for all his evident isolation, has taken on board this important lesson. His ineffective management of the money flow has created a lot of powerful enemies who would dearly love to pull him down regardless of whether or not he has the capability of making the investment program sing!
The solution does not, initially, lie in high tech programs, super new Banking contacts, or any such. It lies in the simple expedience of internally produced cheques, such as are used by businesses, governments etc all around the world, by the millions, each day.
