And then there was also a flaw in the system which meant that you could be lucky to get a TOP position right from the start. This made "smart people" signup in the hope they were lucky ... and if they were not they just abandoned the position and thereby caused the whole system to fall apart.

    Exactly,

I remember one joker who would purchase dozens of positions at the very last moment at the tail end of each matrix, and since it was published how many were needed to complete the next matrix, it was easy to jump into a top position, and he ended up with a half dozen positions paying out nearly a thousand each as I recall. So talk about a flawed and unfair system GW was the worst example I have ever seen.

We all put in $860. as I recall, for each position, and many of us were induced to purchase many positions to get the lower matrix positions paid out, and as more and more failed to pay, it became a losing battle as more and more caught on to what was going on and how some were getting all the top positions in matrix. In fact, I remember a few who would brag on the boards how much they were earning while 99% were making squat.

Remember MaddMax, the Talktrash queen of PIPS posting, he had several top positions, and when Bryan scrapped Golden Womb, man was he pissed. (LOL) End of story, GW was a terribly flawed concept which simply failed to factor in human nature, greed, and the majority were quitters.

    Good luck to all, Mike

Members are not entirely to blame, there it was a flaw in the design of the system. It was believed and members were assured that after 3 months (if I remember well) in one matrix everybody will make enough money to cover the fees in the subsequent matrixes. GW implored us to buy positions in the subsequent matrixes. I personally emailed them and they assured that I will make enough money to cover the fees if I buy a position in the open matrix. So buying so many positions was not only because of the greed, it was also because of devotion and trust in GW and Bryan.

if our CEO pay 450 per position from GW to pips that will mean that he have to use some of his own money to pay us member. since i belive that most of the money is given to the top member on the maxtix.

as far as I remember is that PIPS was funded by 40% from members and 60% their own money (BM and others) I think that's how their money got into PIPs.
I was not a member of GW but a PIPs member since May 05
