Default We lost a fellow Pipster

It is with saddened heart that I am posting this notice. As you may all
remember when we played and talked in the Old USA forum there was a good
pispter there that kept our hearts going as he described his loss of his
plumbing job but his gain of the dearest woman in his life, Sherry with whom
he was engaged. He would tell us all of the great weekends he spent with his
new children ( Sherry's kids). He came on to tell us when he taught the
little on how to ride a bike. While in itself one would not even listen but
with Doug we could feel his love for Sherry, the kids and life pour forth in
his words to us in the forum.

Today we need to give back - we need to show Sherry and the children that
Pipsters are a family that sticks together and reaches out when needed.

Below is the sad announcement --- I will be posting back as I gather my
thoughts with some other pipsters and come up with a plan that will be easy
to follow through with and will be the most beneficial.

    Saddened,
    4D

My condolences to his family, his fiancee and her kids. I used to live about 10 miles south of Rocky Hill years ago. A beautiful final resting place.

He was in a car accident. Don't have all of the details, was just shocked as to what happened.

I am working on getting more information...

I too remember Doug. We were joking about going up there for a pot luck wedding party. Very sad.

I never knew him as I am not very old in PIPS but I can understand that how respectable he was. I just pray for his soul restin peace.

I remember Doug from PIPSUSA.....how sad.
My sincere condolences to his family and fiance.
I sometimes wonder why I have lived as long as I have
and the younger ones go before me.

4D...what was his ID at PIPSUSA....I cannot remember.
