I did see the pages too................before this summer ;-)
I also saw the sites
Regards
Absolutely not! I am only stating fact. I read in an earlier post that it was rumored the sites were up for one day but it had not been verified by anyone who actually saw them. All I am doing is verifying that I for one, saw them. I have no fact beyond that and would never begin to accuse or speculate beyond the fact that I witnessed the sites being up for myself.
I got in ever so briefly, couldn't see ROL or anythng but saw the homepage but not for long.
Someone on another forum claimed the ROL was up to date when they accessed their accounts.
This is pretty interesting.
But what does it mean?
Does it mean that really PIPS really was about to start operating again? At the time, certain people we have come to rely on for "inside" info were saying that PIPS was going to be back online the first week in September.
But then the government or whoever changed their minds at the last minute and decided more investigating was in order....?

I heard an IT guy explain that Possibly??? the sites could have breifly accidently been exposed to the internet. Who Knows???Quote:

hi hi
What you are seeing now when trying to go in to the site is "connecting to ...." . That would mean that a router connected to the PIPS network has the web sites ip address in its memory and is connected to the internet. However the actual web sites behind the router are not connected. When they came up a couple weeks age it was because the web server for some reason was connected to the network and connected to the internet. To log into the PIPS site, was not possible, as the database server that controls the login process was not connected. The database server is not the same server as the web server.
Al
I am a network person. Believe it or not
So basicaly it could be that the bank gave back the web server and kept the database one. makes sense.Quote:
