Until the trial we are only speculating on what we think the facts are concerning Bryan, Sharon and the investors money.
I joined PIPS early on and have a very different belief and opinion than those stated by many who joined later.
I even flew to Malaysia for the first convention as well as to Hawaii for the last one.
I visited the offices of Bryan and Gary while in Malaysia and spent one on one time with each discussing PIPS and the future vision they had for the company.
I do believe that the constant delay in the trial is incredibly cruel to everyone; especially Bryan and Sharon who have been left languishing in jail for so long. How fair is that?????
My constant prayers are for them and for those who continue to carry malice in their hearts toward Bryan and Sharon. Until the facts are presented we don't have the right to judge.
I appreciate being informed of the trial happenings by TheBat$. Especially when facts only are reported. I find it unfair to include emotion and personal opinion since others can witness the same thing and come away with differing feelings and opinions. Let the facts speak for them self.

There is little speculation concerning the funds. Bank Negara found little remaining other than that in the Marsden's personal accounts. Hence the charges of fraudulent disposition. Since the funds were not legally obtained, they were frozen, preventing their use for bail.
The trial is purely concerned with this misuse of funds, not with the operation of Pips.
And how fair is it that many of the monies deposited by members wound up in the Marsden's pockets?

What do you think?
He had everyone eating out his hands. Like you my relatives went to meet the man and came away convinced he was the "real deal}. I have been to the office many times and I also have met the man, in my view (at that time) the operations were legit. Checks being processed, tens of thousand dollar checks from deposits. It was its diverse investors that made it look real. (companies, individual, retirees and etc.)

As for reporting, I report facts then include my observation as I was there.COMING TO PENANG?

We cannot agree more on that fact itself. As to the Funding of a Lawyer, (back to the topic), one eventually need to ask, just how and by then would it truly serve the outraged & ripped off community of lenders just to secure whatever facts that can be derived from the trials on the Marsdens and if you will, "perhaps"...just perhaps..., their case is not going to end there & then, to retrieve whatever amount totaling some millions that is now held back by the Malaysian authorities, that it won't be compounded and released instead... in light of the allegations to wrongfully obtaining the monies without being licensed... that sum now in safe custody is more than likely to be absorbed into the Malaysian Tax Budget portfolio.
Is a lawyer then worthy for consideration? I doubt at all and even until the trial is finally over but just keeping a close watch at the trial developments, is all that is left as the only interesting thing to do to see a satisfied end for a closure, and certainly, no lawyer is needed for that.

How about it Owen?
Fancy flashing in the market square and getting yourself
banged up with BM in Malaysia.
You could smooth talk you way into another book straight from
the horses mouth.
I,m sure we can club up enough funds to pay your fine and get
you out before the bends set in :)
Go for it!

Don't know about that. He wouldn't talk to me about the first one!
Sorry, Paddy, I didn't spot your first post but I realise that it was a joke. No problem.

It was my understanding that the only Pips money in Malaysia was the members loans to
Brian for safe keeping and the daily interest that he was drawing was in an off shore account, where I don't know. The last accounting I seen in Pic Pay before pips was
closed down was just under 3 million US and I assumed that was in the Malaysian account.
I als want to thank the bat and the ROL admin.Denis R McRae
