I met Gary only briefly in Hawaii, my most vivid recollection being of his son circulating in a "Bank of Dad" T shirt.
My thoughts are with his family at this time.

May loving memories of Gary sustain his family in their time of sorrow. My heartfelt sympathy is with them. Barbara
I met Gary both in Langkawi and Hawaii, even though I didn't speak much with him. Sorry to hear he passed away... My sympathy is with the family.

My sympathy to Gary's family. I first met him in Langkawi and later in Hawaii. He was a happy and jovial gentleman on both occasions. He seemed especially happy in Hawaii. I have pictures of him at the dinner/dsance. He had put away his shorts and flipflops for a more formal look. I have not spoken with him since Hawaii.
There is so little to say. He was much younger than I am. It is not a thing that we need to speculate about. I have no need to know what caused his death. It is highly unlikely that it is anything that will affect any of us former PIPsters. His family deserve only our love and respect. I can offer that.
I met Gary briefly in Hawaii and my experience with him was a positive one. He was a very helpful and upbeat person. My heartfelt condolences to his family and closest friends.
Never met, nor spoke to the man, but in a strange way he was a large part of my life for a year or so. My thoughts are with his family.
I never met, nor spoke to the man either, but I know people in my personal life who met him with several occasions and reported he was such a friendly and kind person you could talk to about almost anything (if he had the time). He also in a strange way was a large part of my life after I invested in Pips. I am very sorry to hear he passed away and my thoughts are with his family.
I only spoke with Gary once and he always had the memberships best interests at heart.De****e rumours to the contrary. He was a decent fellow and will be missed by many.
My sincere condolences to his family.God rest his soul.
Didnt Gary Nichols have a role in the Pips scam?
None whatsoever as far as I could find out. He was perhaps naive but his function was almost totally that of the amiable front man for Marsden. Occasionally, when it suited, he was promoted to the board to sign the odd document but he had no control over the financial side.
He was well liked by both staff and members and I would join in sending my condolences to his family and to his son, with whom I have had some brief correspondence.
