Q&A for the upcoming Sept 10 - 11/07 BM Trial

How time passes quickly and once again it will be the BM Trial brought to you by Rolclub, sponsored by the members, reported by yours truly. I will be out on the road for 4 days, this time around. The longest yet and I am sure more "dates" to come.

You might have questions on the trial or BM, you want answers to. I am not promising you will get the answers you seek but I will try to fill in the blanks. Please do not post any comments or use it for any chit-chat. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

I am interested in the prosecution's take on possible sentencing scenarios; i.e., if found guilty, what kind of sentencing options the prosecution may tend to want to pursue. They will probably be closed on this subject, but there may also be opening for some discussion as to a possible preference for a certain type of sentencing scenario or something they may be leaning towards since this case is somewhat unique to their criminal system.

thebat$: Just make sure the dates are still on. Too many last minute changes in trials like this, so be sure the date is still firm before traveling. You should also make sure there have been no last minute plea deals, thus eliminating the trial altogether. They would still appear before the court, but instead of a trial, it would be to enter their plea. The judge could accept the plea and issue his sentence ruling based on the conditions of the plea bargain at that time. Or he could elect to have a hearing date for the sentencing to review the rationale for the plea bargain.

Just want you to make sure before you go so you don't waste your time and travel for nothing.

I believe that this case may see more than just a one-off on Sept coming... in light of the precarious state BM had drawn it all on themselves "him and wife" and to best sort out with a verdict, light or heavy or otherwise, is then left to no one or other but to the final ruling from the Malaysian Court and Judge presiding the whole stretched out trial...

Unless, they both suddenly decided to admit all guilt, the whole works and only upon themselves as the whole truth, and nothing but themselves to be blamed and that being their truth!!

Which I can seriously NOT expect it to be the case, but YOU and I can all be plain and dumb WRONG at this last minute turn around and if again, BM does NOT see it and far from reconcile the mistake he started it all... one just have to wait and hear...we'll see it once it makes it to the news again...we have not actually heard the last of the trial, and not by the Media too for sure.

The question remains: How long will it be drawn out???

Thats what we ALL want to find and what would have or be the cause to it???...

Yes, most will have no trouble imagining/speculating what they will be but nevertheless, Batty is in no position but as our own reliable ROLClub observer doing his utmost to gather pertinent facts so we get to be the wiser eventually.:noserious:biggrin:

It is with much reservation and appreciation in thanking ALL of YOU supporters in making this initiative work and to accomplish it without further need to rely or depend on speculations from all sides, and the continued support shown to this day with donations as well... is very welcome and respected for your cooperation to make this succeed and certainly, someday, we all can accept a closure with satisfaction even though, we felt a GREAT loss to a one-time incredible vision put before us but was not workable for lack of TRUE vision both in practical and pragmatic reasons....and as to the latter, we shall soon find out what supports that from a fundamental stance when thinking such a launch as BM perceives... is but an illusion all along.

I have never thought of PIPs as an illusion Yogi. A bridge too far, certainly.
There are many trading institutes, been around for years, making a steady and growing nestegg for many investors. Maybe not the returns that PIPs promised, but how much of a chunk do such Instutes take for themselves?
Look to the Banks to see one kind of daylight robbery.
I would be interested in all answers BM gives from the dock, from which I can fill my own blanks in.

The illusion herewith lies not with the fact that it is potentially workable...within the structure and administrative capacity managed professionally and competently, it has "unfortunately" distanced itself from that expected position... It appeared to be heading in that direction as a convincing start-up but its true management on the long run was inevitably met with the hurdles we now have to and had put up with...that is the sad but certainly, turned into an illusion as a result.:biggrin:

I will be closing this thread and a string of others as well that are rather repetitive and only leads to confusion and disarray for returning members wanting to trace or track related posts concerning the current development some call it a stupid saga, a farce and even a silly & endless waste of time, well whatever anyone feels opinionated by their individual viewpoints or argument, the Trial on the Mardsens is NOT over and far from closure hence, a main sticky thread will cater to that attention

Any further new threads open just for the sake of an individual's ignorance to the progress surrounding the Marsdens or the Trial or anything else on PIPS or PicPay and all the parties involved will find their newly created thread deleted. Issues related to the past and further back in the past, will be posted in the above thread, click that and stay there with your submitted posts please. This is a start of some pruning and spring cleaning on the PIPS related Forum.
