I feel we need as much international attention placed on the trial as possible.
What about some sort of petition to convey that this was a scam involving in the vast majority foreign investors and approximately xxxx in <country>.
If anythig might have an influence on the Malaysian authorities, it is 'inquiries on an upper level', if you know what I mean.
Call me naiive, it might not go anywhere but does it not make sense?

Has anyone thought about contacting their country's embassy in KL?

It is my understanding that many have already contacted their Ambassador in Malaysia about PIPS. Not only have the Embassies been contacted, law enforcement officials from many countries have already been to Malaysia to share information with the Malaysian authorities even prior to BNM making the raid in August of 05.
What everyone has to understand is they were individually responsible for doing their own due diligence prior to investing in, oops Loaning to PIPS. Outside governments cannot interfere with the Malaysian court system; but once the Malaysian trial is over it does not mean they cannot request extradition to face charges in their respective countries. A lot will depend on the outcome and sentence given as to whether or not any extradition requests will be made. Then it will be interesting to see just "who" (which country) gets first dibs. Right now the countries that would be vying for the Marsden's to be their guests are: Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, Canada, US, Belgium, Sweden and Norway. Not all will get their chance for the Marsden's to come visit. Malaysia is just the first stop on this trail. The outcome and sentence will determine if it is the last stop.

I will be closing this thread and a string of others as well that are rather repetitive and only leads to confusion and disarray for returning members wanting to trace or track related posts concerning the current development some call it a stupid saga, a farce and even a silly & endless waste of time, well whatever anyone feels opinionated by their individual viewpoints or argument, the Trial on the Mardsens is NOT over and far from closure hence, a main sticky thread will cater to that attention
at this link>>>:
Any further new threads open just for the sake of an individual's ignorance to the progress surrounding the Marsdens or the Trial or anything else on PIPS or PicPay and all the parties involved will find their newly created thread deleted. Issues related to the past and further back in the past, will be posted in the above thread, click that and stay there with your submitted posts please. This is a start of some pruning and spring cleaning on the PIPS related Forum.
