This brings back a lot of memories!! Man, that obsession I had with turning on the computer and checking that site....twenty or thirty times a day!!

Then the hours spent on end in the forum navigationg the scammers from the real people!! The games from the truth. That was an eye opening and learning experiance for me!!

Marek, you (and of all the MODs) have done something spectacular here!! I can't say I have made anything close to my PIPS venture back....yet!! But, I have sure met and spoke with some mighty fine people here!!

I am a proud RolClub Member!!

Thanks for all you have done and everything that is coming in our great future!

Talking Durian kena kepala! (Durian hit my head!)

I think PIPS would have continued operations for at least 6 months or more. This is because there were new members and more deposits pouring in. My first withdrawl was already late, I made several trips to the office to speak to BM's people as he was unreachable. He actually left the building as I have said before anyone could stop him. He didn't return.

But the staff never let on that anything was amiss. I could still see them taking calls and it was business as usual. BM taking the forum offline is a classic Hyipscam procedure as now I have come to know. It is to make sure that complaints don't hamper those who still wanted to invest. I can say at this point PIPS was already on the verge of collapse owing to the backlogged payments.

My thoughts on the missing money. I still say it was spent lavishly on a jetset lifestyle, squandered or invested improperly and the remaining paid to members. I also imagine some money siphoned away that have not been discovered. Please don't go into debate. I am giving my opinion.

The is a saying in Malay, "mendapat durian runtuh!" which means literally durians come crashing down. It means to get a sudden windfall. Why is that? Durians fall down from trees when it is ripe. It is not plucked. So the farmers will have to set up nets to catch it. So hearing the sound of Durians falling means to get money as they fetch a good price. So I invested in PIPS to get "durian runtuh" but I it feels like I got hit by a durian as nothing has come of it.

For those of you that don't know, some of you. Durian is a thorny husked fruit, roughly about the size of a rugbyball weighing around 1kg - 3kg each.

Speaking of Durians. Hey Yogi, my place small mini Durians are at RM1 each!!!! Come quick before the all "habis". Admin, have you eat it before?

    Hi, Marek.
I have been a PIPS member since February 2004 and I had a huge loan account when PIPS was closed down in 2005. PIPS was the best investment plan I have ever seen, and I'm really sorry it was stopped.
We can only speculate - with a few crumbs of truth - as to why this happened. Certainly, Bryan made some rash investment decisions; he took his eye off the ball, namely that the members were his first priority, not buying property (not so soon, anyway) or opening fashion houses.
There were payment logjams because the software wasn't able to handle the volumes, and because too many people were requesting payments of small amounts too often, worsening the situation, instead of letting the money grow before drawing it out.

I also believe the negative forces out there who begrudged us our success, instead of joining us, were responsible for making various authorities and banks nervous, through their spreading of malicious rumours about PIPS.
All this happened at a time that Americans were still paranoid about 9/11, the resultant introduction of the FICA Act, the Patriot Act, the assumption that anyone making large sums of money were involved in money laundering or terrorist sympathies. In other words, we are all now guilty until proven innocent, and the world is a darker place for it.

The point I'm coming to is that PIPS WORKED for so many of us. Therefore, how come no-one has since been able to take all the positives out of PIPS, leave out the negatives, and build a brand new investment vehicle along the same lines with all the benefits of 20/20 hindsight? surely Bryan wasn't the ionly person clever enough to design such a system? The idea behind the system was workable, it was just the implimentation that was wrong.

If we could find out how the original idea was supposed to work - maybe even from talking to Bryan himself, if we are allowed to - we could start a new PIPS with a different name, keep it in a legal offshore account, even open our own bank as Bryan tried to do if necessary, make sure the software is up to the task and that the "Malicious Forces" had no handle to grab onto against us.

What do you think? Can it be done? I promise you, if I knew what to do, I would do it!

    Regards,
    Paul.

Yes , the trial is almost upon us. It will be an interesting story I'm sure.
One of the things that was exciting about pips was opening up the mind to abundance. Dreaming of all those things on your "hot" list , visualizing driving the cars , cruising the seas, the holidays, and the houses. It was a fun experience.

And Yes , we all move on. Its interesting when your mind is open to expansion , the pathway that develops to get you where you want to be, develops. I must be blessed, or open to receive as some amazing things are now occurring in my business life , that leaves me with that warm internal glow , that all will work out. Cause thats the way I dream it to be.

Love to share it all with you.
    Alan.

Yes I have been one of those that have sat back and waited for a decision of the courts, I invested what I could afford at the time and I am not able at this time to get into anything else, however, what a hell of a ride with PIPS. I enjoyed the daily checks to see how the account was going, and as many have said, it is too good to be true, well maybe so, but I enjoyed it while it lasted and can only hope that it will still come good in the end. You never know, we may even get our investment back, but either way I have written it off for the time being.

    Cheers to you all

The original idea of pips was based on Forex, as i have understood from the talks with people that were close to pips management team.. One can make a very good income from Forex, but nobody can guarantee you 2% a day.

In pipsinc case i believe after the taxes/donations it was 1,85% that we got in the end of the day (correct me if i am wrong here)...

I have seen so many companies/investment programs come and go since that time, offering the same. Still non has managed to catch my attention.
The programs that are run serious with a iron control and some money of their own at the backhand last longer (1-2 years), and then gone...

I have in this time learned that, obtaining 2% a day is nearly impossible. If anyone know's any such company that has lasted 2-3 years, still paying and going good, please feel free to share it with us.

I dont believe in anything that is offered past 10-15% when it comes to high risk investments. I know of a company that has been paying 6% each week for nearly 3 years (6 a week, giving a bit above 25% a month).. I have no idea how they do it, but they are still paying like clock work each week.

Even 10% a month can go long way if compounded over a few years. Getting rich in 1 year with 2% programs is nearly impossible, and most should just get this out of their system, and go for lower rates. Learn a lesson from what happened in pips and never look back at 2% daily programs..

If we launch a program of our own, it for sure will be no 2% program.
It will be real investment. Something that has been, can be done..

It can be done, but we need to come up with a idea itself, and work very hard to make it work... We have all kinds of peope right here on this forum, and that is enough to launch something new and working.... it not easy, but one has to believe...

    Smile Thanks for the updates

I am a school teacher in the U.S. and invested in PIPS. I appreciate the updates. Since I am not a heavy investor or have much investment savy, it is just interesting to me to follow the trial and watch how it plays out. I look forward to September if for nothing else, the human interest angle.

    Thanks for your efforts.
