I guess the Norwegians dislike the Euro as much as the British - no surprise there!

Anything is better than USD except Turkish Lira or Argentine Pesos

There's probably not enough Swiss Franc in circulation. Since it's backed by gold (I think), they can't just print more funny money like the Federal Reserve does every time someone applies for a mortgage or credit card.

If there is enough shortage in the money supply in a contry (ie PIPSsters holding CHF) there will most likely cause a severe slowdown or recession in the economy. This is what happened during the depression in the 30-s when suddenly short term loans were called due immediately causing an engineered domino effect on the money supply.

Guys, if you take a look back in time since the Euro first was intruduced in the EU, you will find that the worth of it has not changed very much. It's a very stable currency in my opinion.

So, if Mr. B decide to go with the Euro, I'm standing right behind him!

Euro is not stable at all. The most stable and strongest currency on this planet is the British Pound, has been since the 1920's. The entire European Union relies on the Pound to keep it stable, but since the economy is so bad in Europe no matter what the British do to help improve growth in all areas, the E.U still find a way to make it weak. Which only comes down to their subbornness not wanting to do it the British way that has proven to strengthen the UK's Economic Growth for decades.

I say Dump the Euro, it aint worth crap!

Good grief! Silvertrend and Sailingdom, I thought I was the only one to harbour such thoughts!

There might be hope yet :)
