If you are honest with yourself there won't be many members here who REALLY can't afford to contribute USD 2. I believe that most of those who don't donate don't want to do so - for whatever reason they have.
Some of the newer members may not even know what PIPs is and who Bryan and Sharon are - and I suppose many old PIPsters no longer care as they don't believe we'll ever get any money back from this anyway, and just have moved on.
I for one just want to know what really happened. That's why I have contributed USD 22 so far, and I may even pay more over time.
Still I have voted for keeping the info open for everyone. We are a community here, and to me that means that we stand in for each other. So on behalf of those who really can't contribute to the fund, let them share the info!
I can only add to the plea to those who do have an interest in the information provided and who can afford it: please do your part and send a donation. At least the USD 2!

Thats a warm, compelling and awesome plea as a message from a ex-Pipster that I know and one that shares with many more in this desire... and it is very true...just how many who contributed with a symbolical donation, does it out of this conviction...and it is an even greater testimony on its own in reflecting the genuine membership we have gathered in ROLClub!!!

With what's been stated in this thread, there appears to be a polarized bias to option #1 such that the point of the poll seems to be moot. That is, the information will be distributed, anyway, but there remains in this polling thread the more or less real or valid point of encouraging members to contribute the very small and affordable amount of just two dollars. I think that is the only point that needs to be put forth. The poll, therefore, merely has become an excuse for ridiculous argumentative statements about supposed fairness issues of distribution of the information or an excuse for absurd rationalizations such as being so totally broke from loss to PIPs, etc, that a two dollar donation becomes just as totally prohibitive. If we want the information, then donations need to occurr; it is as simple as that, and a small two dollar donation is affordable to every one and is appropriate to anyone who has an invested interest in this information. Let's all get real with the basic facts of this matter and contribute, accordingly, so that theBat$ can do the rather difficult and engaging task he has volunteered to do on our behalves.

Whatever the demise and cause behind anyone's financial depression, all efforts were taken, countered with just to stay on the net...how much does the Internet connection cost per month???
Peanuts for some while others it can be a strain...but whatever it can pose for the individual, it has been worth putting up just to stay ahead and on top of things... and not forgetting, the current monopoly can be so darn devious in manipulating connection speeds with lame and deliberate poor delivery for what has been paid for but lacking the actual agreement as understood...yes, these are the daily legal crooks that supply your connection wherever you are located and gets off the hook, probably with your blessings too...unconsciously most of the time however, getting back to perspectives...here we have, a serious but equally lost interests by many too, which somehow, remains tempted in lingering within distance to cap on information while it would have been so motivating to chip in even for a small symbolical sum...so the flair for fulfillment can be justified...now, isn't that a wonderful feeling to have in return? :rolleyes:
On the issue of this leaking onto other forums such as the notorious TG... it can be a matter of concern but looking at what the odds are against what the efforts are suppose to reflect and impact...we were right to go ahead for we fear not the power of the TRUTH here...and that is the fundamental strife to attain with or without the much needed funding to achieve it.
Do we want to be associated indirectly or directly with the likes that travel & troll from within the TG base?? Most of you would shun the thought at that if accused as such...however, what would you suggest to circumvent that possibility and effectively?
It also does not mean those that do not belong to that community...should be associated with them under the same brush...absolutely NOT!
But it does show, as Thelema pointed, a lack of possible good-willing co-operation among the hundreds or thousand concern (nonetheless) parties wanting the next hot news as development towards the trial… is that a fair notion to raise on why the drawback with this one harmony to help each other and oneself to make it work better be legit?
For now, we have just about adequate to decide even at short notice, to approve theBat$’s next trip… but it would be safer and sound to have more than adequate should it ever turn around for more frequent trips that may catch us unaware and when many may be off for some reasons…requesting more funds may become a tiring one as if it was falling on deaf ears…simply because, people are out of touch, out of town, had enough with staring at the PC or take a long holiday …whatever.
I hope not…
If it gets copied and carried over to the other forums, what then??? Will that affect our lives and reporting? I don’t think so but you, the participating & contributing Donors…will have and can decide on that.:ro_emote:

Thanks for your remarks, Yogi; my sentiments follow along the same line. I voted for #2 as that option addresses, to a moral extent anyway, the responsible compensation of those who donated in good faith. As far as "actual" distribution is concerned, the contents have already, and will in the future, be copied into other forums such as TG. I have also seen the evidence of another, former Pips forum, that has copied the contents word-for-word of theBat$' findings for both their "paying" and free memberships to view. I don't blame them for that, nor do I necessarily see it in anyway negative, but it goes to show that the information is going out via copy-paste and will be copied out all over the place in the future...if, that is, we continue to have members fund, with very small and very affordable contributions, theBat$' fine efforts to discover and distribute the information he gleans from trial and hearing developments. Again, let's get real with the facts of the situation and, in spite of how the info is ultimately distributed, make a reasonable and affordable contribution suggested via this forum so that we can continue to be kept up-to-the-minute on actual developments regarding the Marsdens and Pips. Thank you.
