Why is it so hard to get good info?

Why is it so hard to get information? I would think with so much US money and people from the USA involved that the government would be watching this closly and would be in on the case to help people get whatever money back they can. I am not sure what information they would share or if anything is even happening in the case, but I would think they would be involved in someway and might be able to provide people with a status report from the better business bureau or something.

As the US has no jurisdiction over there, and given the distance involved, it is not suprising that there is no US news about it.

If you want more info, please donate to the fund (only $2) to send one of our Mods, thebat$, on a fact-finding trip. He will be able to get more info on that trip than we get reported in any newspaper.
