Default My Follow-up with BNM Investigation Officer

I made phone enquiry to one of the BNM investigating officers and posed
questions raised by members. He told me that questions like how much
money was seized, will the members get their money back and when will
the investigation be completed will not get answers during the
    investigation.

However, he said a large portion of their work was done.

Members who have answered the questionnaires will be called for another
meeting to verify the documents such as deposit slips, payment receipts,
    ETC.

I told him many members from other countries are anxious to know the
outcome and whether they will get their money back. He said that
members may fax their enquiries to the director of the investigation.

    Jalan Dato Onn,

    Hope this helps.

    danny51,

forgive me, but this seems rather a strange comment. Why is this news good for us? Do we know the rewsult nor outcome of the investigation? At the same time: why is it maybe bad news for BM? Is there any information given in the posts indicating such interpretation?

All that is said is that "A large portion of the work is done." No evaluation is given or findings mentioned. So why is it good or bad? It is merely good in that we have heard that a large portion of the work is done. Does that mean the investigation is finished? NO. Not in the least. It is merely indicating that the work tends toward an end now, but does not say when or what that end will be.

THe only really good news maybe if we can really get some answers from the Director himself. However, I would not be surprised if he will not entertain a barrage of emails with similar questions for thousands of people.

    The Mad Scot,

just finished my post when I saw your comment preceeding mine. Am not surprised at that.

Wish people would read posts as they are written and stop interpreting them from a personal desire point rather from an informed reader's point.
