Default PIPS case progress. (FEB 2008)

Many members seem to be confused again in their support emails to us.
I thought i might just post what and where the issues with pips stand.

There are two trials coming up, and we need members to support our fact finding funds to be able to get you all the trial news...

We thank all that has taken part, and hope for more to help in our efforts
of making this fact finding mission possible, where we will send of of Rolclub's mods to the area to find out all the details for us..

    A older quote

Bank Negara scored a first when it charged two directors with operating an Internet investment scam which saw them allegedly raking in more than RM200 million in just over a year.

The directors of the Internet-based companies - PicPay Dot Com and New Mark Business Centre - became the first to be charged with collecting deposits without a licence in a get-rich-quick scheme.

The two - Briton Bryan John Marsden, 59, and his Malaysian wife Phan Sew Ken, 55 - are accused of duping thousands of investors in the scam.

Marsden was charged with four counts of taking deposits without a licence while his wife was charged with two similar counts. All charges are under the Banking and Financial Institutions Act 1989.

Marsden, claimed trial to collecting deposits while he was a director of PicPay Dot Com and New Mark Business Centre.

Both companies were also charged with the same offence and Marsden represented them both.

Phan, also claimed trial to collecting deposits while being a director of both the companies.

The alleged offences occurred at PT 7323 Second floor, Jalan BBN1/2E, Bandar Baru Nilai, Seremban, between April 10, 2004, and July 4, 2005.

The couple face a maximum fine of RM10 million or 10 years’ jail, or both, for each charge if convicted.

The couple was produced at the Sessions Court here and in Seremban in August last year, where Marsden claimed trial to 51 counts of money laundering, while Phan claimed trial to 46 counts.

Marsden and Phan are being remanded at the Seremban and Kajang prisons respectively, after they failed to post bail of RM900,000 each 2006.

Bank Negara deputy public prosecutor applied for bail at RM500,000 each with one surety for all six charges.

He also applied that the couple surrender their passports.

Their counsel, told the court that their assets worth RM8 million (our money?) had been frozen by Bank Negara as a result of the money-laundering cases. “I would like to apply that the frozen assets be used as bail.”

DPP said frozen assets could not be used as a condition to post bail.

    Lowered bail again.
Judge fixed bail at RM400,000 with one surety for Marsden, and RM300,000 with one surety for Phan.

    They already had.
She also ordered that both of them surrender their passports, and fixed three days beginning May 6 for hearing.
So now we have two separate trials going on. One is just staring, the other one not started to move.

The trial date are set to : 24 to 28 of March 2008 for case in Seremban.

Also Charged under Money Laundering act.

The trial date is set to : 6 to 8 May 2008 for case in Kuala Lumpur.

PureInvestor.Com Inc. (PIPS) directors, Bryan John Marsden and Phan Sew Ken have been charged under the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism financing. Act 2001 (AMLATFA) and the banking. and Financial Institutions Act 1989 (BAFIA).

The hearing for the offence under BAFIA is fixed on 6-8 May 2008. With regard to an offence under AMLATFA, the prosecution is conducted by the Attorney general's Chambers.

WE HOPE FOR YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE FACT FINDING FUNDS, to be able to cover the coming trials that comes up in 3 weeks from now.

ADMIN IS PIPSINC NOW GOING TO BE REBORN FOR A 3rd TIME? From GoldenW to pipsinc and now perhaps ?

    Hello Admin

Do you have any news on the matter that some old pipsinc administration team has the pipsinc database over the investors, and are planning to restart pips, where all that invested in pips are said to be not the lossers. And that if they are given a chance and some time they can put this right and members that have been waiting long for WD's will
get to make controlled WD's from the system. More or less just like Gold.Whomb or whatever the name was..

Secondly, if this is indeed the case, will Rolclub support a restartup of the "pipsinc" under a new name?

    Hello Propipster.

Strange. I have been asked the same question by several members in the past few weeks, but havent taken this serious. But seems like this news is spreading.

Well on one hand we can not think that some people from pipsinc administration can repay the 3 Billion USD back to the members. But then again Bryan M also took thousands of members from another program called GoldenW, and they were the early investors in pips.

So your saying that now these people will take up the same database and reopen under
same sort of investment strategy and return our funds?

Not sure if i understood you correctly.

First of all admin, its almost been 3 years since pipsinc was shut down. Its now not that big news anymore. If pips had 180.000 members, many of them will never return back to even know this, if this indeed is true that pips administration consisting of some of the old workers of Bryan will RESTART PIPSINC.

Those that invested will have accounts with same funds or lesser ammounts. Basically what i have heard is that if BM could restart the program out of GoldenW, then why cant others try to save this program and take the members from here into a new program.

Would Rolclub support this new PIPSINC if this is indeed true?

Support what? You mean promote a new pipsinc type program? NO!!!
But on the other hand i do support anything that returnes the members money back, but that being said, who is going to return the 3billion dollars?

Still interesting this idea about pipsinc re-brith for the 3rd time where old
investors of pips get to keep their funds and move on with a ROUND 3. LOL..

But isent it to early in the day to be celebrating, even if thoughts of ROUND 3 happening, brings out a bright SMILE on the faces of many i suppose. So i will reserve my real meaning about this, and let the members here discuss this matter. (But dont get me wrong. If it does indeed happen that a pipsinc re-birth happens, then you will for sure see me there :-) ).

But the real people to ask this question would be those that were in the pipsinc administration. Is there anyone of the readers here that was in pipsinc administration, and has such plans?

i have sent for some pipsinc staff so that they come here and update us.
Its pretty amazing to think that we might get into a round 3 for free, those of us that were inn pipsinc, and again experience the butterfly's in the stomic when you wake up in the morning to check your ROI served to the account or not...

BOB this is just a rumor, which seems to emerge more and more. It has to be verified yet with some credible source. And even if it is there will be like 100000000000 questions that will need an answer first. But to what you said, i think all that will get to know this will want to join a round 3 for free. I mean what do you have to lose. But to early in the day yet to be making such
    judgments....

The Golden Womb team and Bryan Marsden worked the Master
Matrix System. It was a flop, primarily because of the high
cost for a new member to join. The plan was to clone 40 further
matrixes from the one Master. When MM1 became full, we had MM2, MM3,
MM4 etc, but we never advanced any further than MM4.
The 2% and other investments, introduced by BM, made an appearance in
mid 2003 whilst the Master Matrix programme was still running.
This programme was abandoned in early 2004 and all existing members
were paid into the new PIPs programme. MM1 and MM2 members receiving
a fully funded account, whilst MM3 and MM4 members, a partially funded account.
The Golden Womb team parted company with BM just before PIPs came into being.

I cannot see how anyone can repeat or even affort to pay the funds to re-active
all those accounts even if they were set to the basic $425 start up, never mind
the additional investments many members made during the life of PIPs.

So in plain English what does all this mean? If they are found guilty or not will we ever get our money back?
