All,
It has become apparant that there is an unbalance regarding our current efforts to keep the PIPS membership updated with events surrounding the upcoming trial.
We have launched a fund to send our moderator, TheBat$ to cover the trial and prior hearings. He has done an excellent job with this, and many of you have donated funds.
Herein lies the problem: Those who have not donated any funds are still receiving this information. This is unfair on those who have put their hands into their pockets to help out.
Therefore, we at Rolclub have decided to let the members decide on how to distribute this information. Please vote on this poll to make your opinion count. There are three options:
1 - Information to be distributed immediately to all members.
2 - Information to be distributed immediately to donors, and later to the general forum.
3 - Information to be distributed to donors only.
Please vote for your choice at the top of this thread.
Details on how to donate to the fund can be found here:

Ironically any votes should be cast by depositors only.Otherwise everybody else (the majority who are not donating ) will vote for option one!
Hardly a fair vote !

I agree only depositors should vote. Moreover, those of you who haven't made the suggested $2 donation, please do so now to be fair and responsible regarding the distribution of time and labor to bring these updates to you.

Unfortunately, we can't limit the poll only to depositors... but I am banking on the fact that most of those who donated are the ones who check the site more often and participate more.
I am calling people's good-will and honesty here. If you haven't yet donated, please do so and then vote on what you think.http://nejsnatterings.blogspot.com/

If you are talking about the depositors donating to Bat then that would not be very fair to those that cannot afford to donate at this time. And if you are talking about the depositors into PIPS then how do you know the entire list to make that judgement? Sorry couldn't resist. LOL

We're being elitist here. A lot of members don't have the $2 because Marsden took everything.
Don't deny the little people. I thought donation was voluntary not mandatory. If it turns out to be mandatory, we'll go elsewhere for that info. There is more than one way to get information regarding the Marsdens.
Come on down from your pedestal folks. The air up there is getting too hot.

Jeez, you guys need to chill out. Donation is VOLUNTARY. However, if we do not get enough funds to send TheBat$ for the duration of the trial, EVERYONE loses out.
Some have expressed concern that they are in effect subsidising those who won't donate. We have to respect all members wishes (and believe me, this is an impossible task on here). Hence the poll to gauge the feeling on the forum about the issue. If you want information to goto all regardless (which, incidentally, is my preference too) then make your vote count.
$2 is not a lot of money. It was kept intentionally low, as we know many people have lost a lot. But let's be extremely honest here, how many are really in such dire straits that they cannot spare $2 2 years after PIPs disappeared? $2 is a cup of coffee.http://nejsnatterings.blogspot.com/
