You also ask why would anyone stay in for a monthly fee? Well people are paying $1500 - $4,000 just for a Contact Manager/Voice Broadcasting System. Why are they paying so much for that system, BECAUSE THE SYSTEM HELPS THEM BUILD THEIR BUSINESS.

For the most part, you do need a system in place that is duplicatable to help everyone achieve success.

I've known the owner of the company for several years now and he's definitely not known as a scammer.

montyauto, you may be either lucky or good with solid contacts and effective awareness how to do it and to advertise well with money. Then one can get leads to join.

In my case, I didn't have the luxury of being able to buy my own leads. I asked for upline to help with weaker leg. They didn't even acknowledge the email I sent them. Well, that was a myth with me, at least as well as my sponsor. Both of us left after nothing happened and we could not affordf the advertising to gain leads for direct sign-ups.

So, for those interested, look well before you enter. Get commitments before you pay your way in. That is all I can say.
