I am a general class amateur radio operator. On Thursday, on 20 meters, I had the opportunity to talk to a retired man who lives in Belize. The band was in and his signal sounded like a good telephone connection. He is a nice guy and we had a pleasant chat. I told him the story about SI and asked him if he would go the SI offices and find out what he could. I gave him SI's address. He lived close and said that he would.

I talked to him again this morning and he said he went to the SI offices. He walked in and talked to a "very cute" receptionist. He asked if the company was still in business. She replied that it was. He asked if he could deposit money in SI. She said that it would have to be done through E-Bullion. She also said that the SI servers were down at the moment for repairs but that they would be back up shortly. After depositing his money into E-Bullion and when the servers were back up again, he would be able to deposit his funds with them.

He asked if Sam Colins or Rafael Sosa were there. She said that Colins was out of the office on business, but that Rafael Sosa was there, but he was very busy.

I would suggest that if anyone doubts that SI is still there, buy a round trip ticket to Belize and find out for themselves. Or find someone who could check this out. Don't take my word for this.

If anyone needs their funds now, it might be a good idea to send them a letter and ask for a check.

Honestly, I find it hard to believe that SI would disappear at this time when they said that they were going to stay in business for another five years, until October, 2011. If they do, they will probably have 10 times the wealth that they do now. It doesn't make sense to me that they would disappear at this time, considering what they could make in the next 5 years.

For all of our sakes, let's hope the servers come back on line soon.

By the way, don't shoot the messenger.

I made a call both to US number and UK number. US number is working, but as to UK, a recorded voice says" Your International Call Can Not Be Completed As Dialed, Please Check Your Number Again, Or Call Assistance ....." Re: US No, an operator(a recorded voic e, may be) said" the person you want to speak is not available, please give your message".

Hmmm,who knows what to think with these guys.Does seem like they couldve made much more by just staying in the scene and staying "honest".They shouldve planned for the server problems long ago.You always allocate more than you can use and then grow into it.Theyre either scammers or real amateurs in running a website/business.Either way,not people i want to be handling my hard earned funds.

Have you considered the vicious activities of those greedy lawyers and the complicity with them of e-Gold?

Think hard before calling a paying program SCAM.

I consider SI is not a HYIP program. There is very good chance SI will be back because of its good paying history and the amount of money and the number of investors involved. However,it is very possible that since SI has been in real trade, it could have failed in one or more investment ventures. Just my opinion.
