Thread: What to do with our Newfound Wealth...

Hello All,

I am starting this thread and making it a sticky. We have a lot of good minds here. Let's put them together and come up with some beneficial ideas on how to best manage the wealth that we will "come into" when the Dinar pegs.

A few ground rules:
1. No bickering and no off-topic comments...
2. Any ideas that comes from this thread are not to be considered "financial advice" and everyone should make up their own minds as to whether to follow any particular recommendation(s).

Some questions I have are:
1. What is the best way to convert the Dinars into the currency of our choice?
2. What are our reporting requirements to the various taxing authorities? If we need to make "sub" threads to cover different jurisdictions we will as necessary.
3. What are some good banks that the average person could get an account with and how many and what type of accounts should we get?
4. What are some good ways to legally shelter our money to minimize taxes and maximize returns?

I for one got in late. But if it doesnt peg this week-end I will be ordering one-million more.

After reading everything that Off-Shore and Adster has brought everyone, I myself have done nothing but seek and learn all I can about this currency.

To my findings their are alot of noise about this online and offline. Heck My dad even heard about it. So I am getting more after the week-end. I am judging, by everything I have read that it will be two to three more weeks. So there is time if it's not this week-end.

As far as shelter you mentioned, good ideal. But if you stay under the 10,000.00 mark you will never have to fill out the 8300 forum. Other then that i willing to learn more too. Great ideal EW for this thread.

Ok 3/4 million and wanting more too.

All I did was start it and stick it...The questions that everyone else has been asking and answering was the impetus for this. I just wanted to pull everything into one location...Soooo. Let's pull it all together, folks!
