Can anyone tell me why the forum is closed and I can't access it.

I think its great the forum is closed can only help SI at this stage, cool things down.... Lets make sure we do not migrate most of the rabble onto RC-SI site. They would drive me nuts, some very poor posts their. No offence meant.

I could not have said it any better, legend! Things were getting WAY out of line! I would always retreat to the calmness and reality base here!

Does this thread/forum (?) have a specific Mod?

Send them a note through support on the SI system, same people are posting the updates. I agree... keep i down. – well done guys.

I would imagine the SI support system is now overloaded with emails from those excitable.
