    Default Please Enlighten Me

I'm just a casual inexperienced amateur investor who hates the way these "friendly" CEO's suddenly become "too busy" when they start to collapse.

It amazes me that they can start up such potentially lucrative schemes without having massive protection or insurance against hackers etc.

There must surely be a case for more stringent legislation before anyone starts up such a scheme.

I’m sure someone out there can enlighten me as to why this scenario is repeatedly allowed to happen

My suggestion would be that hyip admins register most their hyips in small corrupt non-regulated countries with no controlling authorities... Otherwise it beats me how they can continue doing their scams

    Funny,

Yes, I would say the U.S. is more than a little corrupt, all you have to do is look at how many politicians were all caught with their hands in the cookie jar this past year. Senators, Congressman, Governors, Mayors, you name it, and corruption is rampant in U.S. government. (g) I think it was more in reference to having legal recourse, and the term small countries was applied in this context.

    Good luck to all, Mike

No, I did not say that all small countries are corrupt. If USA is corrupt is another matter.
Besides I come from a rather small country myself, but it is highly regulated and controlled so small countries do not have to corrupt as starting point.
