I made a transfer of $10,000 USD to Cambist.net (U3165188) from my Liberty Reserve account with batch #4781343 to bank wire to my personal bank account on August 21, 2008 @ 02:56 LR system time. Up until now September 7, 2008 for the total of 18 days, I still have not received my bank wire money yet. I have sent many emails but no reply.
And I do not want to see any other person gets scammed again by this fake exchange operation.
SO PLEASE, STAY AWAY FROM CAMBIST.NET. IT IS A SCAM

A simple google search could have spared you the loss. Google something like cambist.net fraud, and see - there are several links there. One should never send such a large sum to any entity without establishing its authenticity without doubt. So sorry to see somebody lose so much. Good lesson for all of us to be very careful..

After all the publicity they received and after their last email since September 1, 2008. This was what I got today:

In view of the ensuing communication taking place, despite payment/refund not fulfilled, it is only correct to remove that allegation made in the first post. The other party cannot be accused while still cooperating (whether we like to assume or believe) and your replies exhibit some relief and with less distraught.

I think everyone should definitely stop using Cambist.net, it is not only because of my bank wire problem but also Cambist.net's whole banking system is stuck as mentioned in Maria’s previous email:

Lately, the world over and with forums around on almost every specialty one can think of, the tendencies began when guys (the usual and most scheming of the culprits:redface:) began hiding behind their nicks and picture animated avatars to delude and deceive their real cowardice being a man... hence, it was easier to let the other side think, the femininity field is equally involved so, they are just like us... But there are women without question that lives by poor upbringing and unsocialized behaviors in society however, the balance is as always... utterly minute and rare to find women getting involved on Internet dealing to deceive... yes, in chat rooms to strike a mate to bed is more likely but not on to the money side...
Thats where the distinction steps in where men are as good as filling the stats with almost 99% out there being the real evils on deception.
From hiding behind feminine pictures to avatars (well, you do get alot of these guys too who are "QUEERS" by physical definition as well), their posts and mannerisms in replies submitted and with the style used can also be detected with the words applied and women talk differently too.
From that to the names ... this is where it all lies... giving the impression that a women are the key handle YOU thought you were dealing with. There is the common attitude, for men to feel somewhat more forgiving and passionate to the opposite gender and this is the crux of the Internet deception. You may be just another simple Simon that fell easily for it...
Here, in your case... you might have all along thought you were dealing with Maria... its just a name, yes, a woman who had somehow exchanged mails with you but you are not 100% certain she is a person who has not gone thru a sex manipulated exchange did you or is actually, another Brutus who likes to dress and dance or swig like a fagot thinking he can talk & sing as good as Britney or Madonna... :noserious

To tell the truth, I have been to this hyip world not too long ago and there are many other unexpected things I will have to learn along the way if I want to survive here. I also suspected the other side person "Maria" after several email exchanges. In order to go after my own money, I must stick to the facts and evidences that I have, even though my feeling tells me something differences. YogiBrood, I know you have been in this hyip world quite awhile ago and of course you have more experience and have more inside knowledge of things. Do you mind if I ask you a question. How do you deal with this matter if you were me?

As for the HYIP.... that began with a very large chunk at just under 20K cash in Euros transferred to a Bank that was then dealing with PicPay that was linked with PI Inc... the rest became a saga till today as I have not seen anymore $$$(Scammed as we called it nowadays) as ROI and from thereon, was the birth of ROLClub, since 2005 that saw me observing HYIP movements and operations.
My experience is nowhere near or greater than Admin himself but the chemistry is amazing when combined like a tube is held over a Bunsen burner... the result, is a combination of elements to show what normally is... a solvent or solution that soon shows something interesting... and we are always learning if we observe carefully.
Many here are perhaps involved longer than 5 years for sure and with computers? 10, 15 years easily...
With Cambist, they are still rated on the regular standing with the GDCA (Global Digital Currency Association) listing somehow but this entanglement with your account may have something to do with a crook in the making within Cambist. Time is being sought behind the scene... perhaps (this can be conjecture & speculation for my part), in whatever moves its doing in trying to recover your sum from being stolen but you were not sleeping or appears to be giving up and so, this person is caught "in-between" and the money is already not in their data... POOF to somewhere else!!! However, It can also mean, while this person is still employed, may try another alternative to recover from "elsewhere"... since this may be a practice they do behind the scenes, they can do it yet again... they only needed the time for this... my take here and its also... rhetoric with speculation.
I wouldn't mind if my theory is wrong... heck, better to have plausible options considered than to be narrowed down with no mind of alternative thinking... always be open and prepared... thats where the experience steps in.:thumbsup:

Still a complete silence from SCAMBIST.NET regarding to bank wire information that Maria promised to send to me. Now I am consider to launch a complaint with GDCA. The only problem I am having now is I do not have the kind of e-currencies that GDCA requires for filling fee. However, I will try to send an email to GDCA to see if they will consider Liberty Reserve for payment instead. At the mean time, what CAMBIST.NET did to me and many others is the serious matter that undermines the very fundamental of business practice and conduct that must be stop and brought to justice.

There were some developments today and by the time I found out it was out of the normal business hours. I will wait for tomorrow morning to personally contact my bank to verify my account. After 28 days of waiting for the bank wire, I finally received the money into my bank account and this is the email I received from CAMBIST.NET after my posting on forums yesterday.
This is more or less the same message I received on September 1, 2008 (16 days ago) from them and of course I am happy to see my money but really disappointed at CAMBIST.NET. The way they have handled this matter was extremely unprofessional and violated the very basic of business practices. What I am talking about here is TRUST. Trust always forms a foundation in business exchange between different parties. I have come to CAMBIST.NET in my good faith to conduct a business in exchange for their service charge and I have not even bargain or asked them to do it for free. They did charge for the bank wire and I have never complaint about their fee, but they have failed to deliver what they had promised. To tell the truth, I am wondering what would happen to my money if I have not chosen to speak out on the forums.Quote:
