    Question Real or fake Dinars

I purchased 1/2mill. Dinars from iraqidinar.com at the recomandation of a friend. After buying them I started to wonder, how do I know there real?

I have no clue on what to look for except watermarks.I checked and they have one. I'm sure there are other clues.

Is anyone familliar with this outfit?

I don't know if any one could produce a fake in mass production and still make good profit at this low price or not.

I may be completle off my nut about this, but you know You allways wonder if someone is scaming ya.

If anyone has any thoughts or ideas about this issue I would really apreciate
a response.Anything that could help me to set my mind at rest.

I sure hate to think that I have real money here and come peg day and I find out it's not real.

Thanks to any one comenting. prosperer

Not to worry, dinars are so cheap the very thought of counterfeiting them is ludicrous. The cost of setting up a functional counterfeit operation would buy millions upon millions of dinars at todays prices. Sleep well!!!!

I have bought from them too, and am confident that they are not fake.

Hi - I have also purchased most of mine through iraqidinars and have often wondered what I would do if they were fake. Getting emails from Bruce also did cause some concern as the name did not seem to fit the situation but the fact that they are still there and now offer a free fake detection device with orders has somewhat put my mind at rest but any info would really be appreciated.

Also if you go to Circuitcity.com and put the numbers 6311310 in the box for search it is a Nexxtech Invisible Ink Pen...it is on sale for $2.99 and with shipping it came to about $6.00...it has the uv/black light built right into it to specifically check foreign currency. ( I ordered it...it should be coming any day! :-) Someone posted this in another thread and I checked it out and ordered it asap! lol!

    WARNING,

The fact that there are some counterfeits on the market already says a lot, this will become a problem sooner than expected. I have seen counterfeits, and it appears it is mostly the $25K notes, so I moves away from them to avoid this potential. You will be amazed at how real they appear, so check you serial numbers for duplicates if you are purchasing batches. It was bound to happen as we get closer to revalue, so be careful.

    Good luck to all, Mike

    Default Just Wondering

Has anyone here received any conterfeit dinars and if so from what source.

Personally, I could not know with absolute certainty that my dinars are real but if they are not, some one did a very good job facking the bills because they seem to have all the security features in place. I don't have a black light or special pen for counterfeit detection but these babys look like the real thing.

I have millions from Bruce, 25k, 10k, and 5k, and they're the real deal. Bruce is as trustworthy as they come, have no fear on that.
Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.
