Iraqi government warned of the continuing escalation of unemployment in 2011 because of what they called "disrupt the work of the Council of the Federal service."
The secretary general of the Council of Ministers, on the Keywords, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that "the unemployment rate in the Iraqi provinces have escalated alarmingly during 2010 due to the adoption of Iraq's new mechanism for recruitment, the formation of the Federal service that has not been activated yet."
He pointed out that "not supposed to be dealing with the file unemployment on the basis of political calculations and partisan purposes, especially in the period ahead that need to be economic growth of per capita income of Iraq."
And that "in case it is not a plan to address the wide range of unemployment in the country, they would continue to rise to rates that can not be addressed in the near future and will cost government agencies large amounts of money in the future."
The Ministry of Planning had earlier warned of rising numbers of unemployed are scary in Iraq and the proportion exceeded 25 per cent of the proportion of the workforce during the year 2010.
And the Keywords that "tackling unemployment requires unremitting efforts of all government institutions after the improvement of the security which was the main obstacle to solving the unemployment crisis in Iraq."
The Iraqi government announced in 2010 for the current high unemployment rate of 18% for the year 2009, noting that most of the unemployed youth.
There are no precise figures in the Iraqi Ministry of Planning on the proportion of unemployed for the current year.
The Iraqi Council of Representatives had voted in its first session on the draft law of the Federal Civil Service Council.
