    Kuwait conditionally agrees to write off debts, senior Iraqi official says

    Kuwait: Iraq's debts owed to Kuwait are to be reallocated as investments inside Iraq, said Eyad Al Samarrai, Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, as he concluded his visit to Kuwait on Thursday.

    On a separate issue, in a coordinated effort between Kuwaiti and Iraqi officials, a mass grave located in Karbala will be excavated next week as it is suspected to contain the remains of Kuwaiti victims.

    DNA tests, said the paper, will be carried out to determine the identities of the victims.
