Oh another no fail is coke syrup for nausea....just a couple of teaspoons over ice, have them sip slowly, it settles the tummy very quickly, doesn't seem to work well though if the person has already vomited.

hmmmm, I could have used a couple of teaspoons of ice last night reading the threads! teehee:biggrin: I like using mint ginger ale for nausea. However, I can't find any in Texas. So now I use a little bitters (sold in liquor stores but no alcohol in it) and ginger ale.
I think it's actually the main ingredient used in cocacola for the flavor, it's pretty sweet my kids like it.....i have to hide the bottle when they are not needing it, hahaha. Now i get mine from a little mom and pop place here, in az i used to buy it at fry's food and *****, it's been years do i don't know if they still sell it, maybe you could find in a health food place too?

This works really well; a couple of spoonfulls over crushed ice for nausea associated with migraines, stomach flu, etc.

i didn't know it worked for migraines:thumbsup:
Here's something I discovered recently and it's 100% effective. When you have water lodged in your ear (it can remain in there for months and more despite all the head shaking and banging in the world) pour some regular rubbing alcohol into the bottle cap and then pour it into the ear. Keep head tilted for a minute and then drain into a tissue. The alcohol evaporates the offending water and you're clear! If water is persistent do this several times. It can't hurt you and it works. :leader:
