Thread: Are You Working "The Secret"?

Hi everyone--

I was just curious to hear who is using the teachings presented in "The Secret"...I have seen a thread on this somewhere else and it did not go well so let me say up front that I do not wish to debate the validity of these teachings, nor do I wish to convert anyone...so having said that...

I find that cultivating an attitude of gratitude really helps with the twists and turns of this roller coaster, and that as long as I stay focused on a few core beliefs--"All good things are coming to me now"..."We are fabulously wealthy--we are free of debt and have enough money to do whatever we want to do"...and then I focus on all those wonderful things we will do after we are fabulously wealthy...this helps me to maintain a good level of positive "juice".

I would love to hear other's experiences of success and strategies for dealing with doubt...

I haven't seen it/read it yet personally thats going to be my next bit of education but i'm living some of the principals, cause the energy/thoughts you put out there ARE

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with those teachings. If you point me to the thread, I can sorta read up on it a little and then weigh in on your comments.

I am a firm believer and have received so many things that positive energy and thoughts have brought to me. I have read "The Secret" as well as many of the other readings reccommended in the book. I also read the very first "secret" book, published eons ago.

I will share the first gift I received after reading that book. I lost my wedding ring over a year ago. I searched and searched and finally just decided that it must have gone down a drain, or one of my kids threw it away. After reading the book, I used all of my energy into believing that I would find my ring. Well, I did. I went into my guest room closet and there it was on the floor. I have had several guests within the year my ring was lost...and the room does (on occasion lol) get vacuumed!

This book has been wonderful for myself, my family, and so many of my dear friends!!

apwerner--I can explain it a bit, but really if you are curious, the best thing to do would be to check out their website, Law of Attraction :: The Secret :: Official Web Site of The Secret Movie To sum it up, our experience is a product of our thoughts, feelings and actions. I have asked the universe for fabulous wealth, and now I cultivate feelings of gratitude because I know it's on its way. I imagine how great it is to be free of debt, to have 5 million in the bank, to quit my job, etc...and I thank the universe for it all.

The contributers to the movie/book include medical doctors, spiritual leaders, philosophers, quantum physicists, and others, along with quotes from some very surprising sources, including Winston Churchill, the Buddha, and Henry Ford, to name a few. It echoes concepts presented in "What the bleep do we know" (a movie) but instead of just presenting some of the quantum and neuro science, it points out how to use these concepts to improve your situation.

Perhaps you will find it helpful, perhaps you will not. Godspeed you on your path!

That is EXACTLY what I'm talking about!! what a great story...I've been doing it with parking spaces lately--and while I may have to circle the block once or twice, I ALWYS get what I want!!
