Iraq postage rates.

In 1995 some Iraqi stamps cost 25 dinars and 250 dinars, how could the rate have been .31 if this is so?

Stamps from late 80's 30 and 40 fils.

No. The 100 and 250 dinar ones are current. The 30 and 40 ones are the old and they're FILS, not dinars 1000 fills = 1 dinar. :biggrin:

And a reprint would indeed be in order if they revalue even at a penny because $1.00 or $2.50 US at a penny reval is high to mail a letter. Imagine if there revaled at 1:1 people would have stamps worth $250.00 each, I wonder if they are speculating on postage.

Stamp reprint that is.
