I thought you all might enjoy this little story.
With all the news coming out lately and getting closer and closer to the Big Day I think I'm starting to lose my mind a little and have not been able to concentrate on the task at hand, is this happening to anyone else?
I think it's called A. D. D.
"Attention Dinar Disorder"
This is how it develops:
I decide to water my garden.
As I turn on the hose, I look over at my car and decide my car needs washing.
As I start toward the garage, I notice that there is mail on the porch table that I brought up from the mailbox earlier.
I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car to see if
the dinars that I purchased on ebay had shown up yet.
I lay my car keys down on the table, put the junk mail in the garbage can under the table, and notice that the can is full.
So, I decide to put the bills back on the table and take out the garbage first.
But then I think, since I'm going to be near the mailbox, when I take out the garbage anyway, I may as well pay the bills first.
I take my checkbook off the table, and see that there is only 1 check left. My extra checks are in my desk in the study, so I go inside the house to my desk where I find the can of Coke that I had been drinking.
I'm going to look for my checks, but first I need to push the Coke aside so that I don't accidentally knock it over. I see that the Coke is getting warm, and I decide I should put it in the refrigerator to keep it cold.
As I head toward the kitchen with the Coke, a vase of flowers on the counter catches my eye, they need to be watered.
I set the Coke down on the counter, and I discover my reading glasses that I've been searching for all morning.
I decide I better put them back on my desk, but first I'm going to water the flowers.
I set the glasses back down on the counter, fill a container with water and suddenly I spot the TV remote, someone left it on the kitchen table.
I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV, I will be looking for the remote, but I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table, so I decide to put it back in the den where it belongs, but first I'll water the flowers. I pour some water in the flowers, but quite a bit of it spills on the floor. So, I set the remote back down on the table, get some towels and wipe up the spill. Then, I head down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do.
At the end of the day: my dinars didn't show up, the car isn't washed, the bills aren't
paid, there is a warm can of Coke sitting on the counter, the flowers don't have enough water, there is still only 1 check in my check book, I can't find the remote, I can't find my glasses, and I don't remember what I did with the car keys.
Then, when I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all day long, and I'm really tired but I can't go to bed until I catch up on all the news
here on Rolclub.
I realize this is a serious problem, and I'll try to get some help but first I'll check my e-mail.
Thanks for all the wonderful news articles everyone but I
gotta' run cause I just remembered,
I LEFT THE WATER RUNNING IN THE DRIVEWAY!
Best wishes, Lewscrew
TOTALLY Lewscrew! But add a 19 month old and 4 year old into that mix for me! :help:
MY FIRST POST IN THE CRAZY THREAD THAT WASNT MOVED OVER FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!
WOoTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!
IM AS CRAZY AS THEY GET SO I DONT GOTTA 'GO' NOWHERE!!!!!!!!!:drinkbudd :woohoo::party::banana::flame::beer:
I am out of here. Lightning and Storms getting closer. See you guys/gals Tomorrow.
 ...yes I was amused and it did remind me once, when the series of Big Brother hit our tv network too....and I simply saw a glimpse of what "others" do with their daily routine and I didn't bother after 10 minutes of boredom while half the country's population raved and rant with excitement on this new revelation on ppl's private lives through the lens....how gory and infringing I was thinking otherwise!!!
Anyway, that was my attitude and will not change on prying or be pried by others when privacy is an absolute uncompromising privilege to be maintained and withheld from public scrutiny!
You did want to highlight from a humorous perspective and I am amused by it, it was just a reminder of that incident before the telee and I truly never ever bothered with any of such privacy infiltration thru the lenses that later went mushrooming in many countries as a result... not my kind of soap.... :noserious
Yes again, the Dinars dilemma is reaching unprecedented heights with many...esp. those who are severely traumatized by too much exhileration and unknown fathoms on (in)patience... one has to individually decide on that...:fryingpan
But it is indeed interesting to note what a walk to the car with eyes, wide and panning all around can lead to, on just one busy day....
I spent four years living in the New England woods
homeless, trying to heal broken feet
Started making some money and married a honey
but divorce put me back on the street
Now I'm driving and chillin', just picked up ten more million
and it feels good, just being alive
I'm not a day over 50, I'm cruising at 60
and this ten brings it to 95
Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy on me
Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy..happy, happy RV
