Talking If the r/v doesn't happen today, then what?

If the r/v doesn't happen later today, then what? Inquiring minds want to know!!! I'll give you a hint of what I am going to do, I am going to buy more dinar!!! Even if today isn't "the day" and "the day" is still future it will still happen!! It has to!!! This nation that is sitting on perhaps the greatest oil reserve in the world, one of the largest natural gas reserves in the world, and one of the few nations in the middle east to have abundant water supplies, and a huge potential in agriculture etc. isn't going to allow it's currency to be "artificially undervalued" forever! That coupled with GW pushing for it's success, all of it's neighbors pushing for it's success, the IMF, WTO, World Bank, Federal Reserve, US congress etc. backing it, it can't help but go up!!!

That being said, I don't know what everyone else is going to do, but I am going to keep buying more dinar!!!

    Have a great day!!!

    worf

PS If it does rv later today, then I will still probably buy more dinar. Why you ask? Because if it does r/v at 1.20 today, in the next 3 or 4 years, the probable value will increase at least 3 fold. What bank or investment can you reasonably expect a 3 fold return in less than 5 years? hummmmmm???
Are we there yet? I'm getting really tired of waiting and I am getting wet from all of the dribbling. Come on you know it is the right thing to do for your country. R/V the thing in 1 large dramtic move to over 1 usd at least (1 sdr will be fine for a start) will ya?

    Default foolish Move.

Eric, you better just wait. You need to wait (what is it? 7 years for a savings bond to mature.) Think it over my friend . If your going to wait 7 years to make a much lesser aMOUNT . WHY NOT WAIT HERE?

    Actually Bob,
Depending on what kind of bond it is, it could be up to 30 years. I would take my chances here first. But if he is willing to sell, I could probably take a few off his hands!

Im in this for the long haul. . .no matter how long it takes. I was just venting my frustration. Sorry for the misleading information. Very encouraging words Bob. .those were words of a friend. When it does peg, the first drink is on me. I have always thought is it going to be on the 18th anyway, because at the last meeting of IMF and the WTO Iraq and major industry nations, they stated that the meeting they held was in preparation for the twin meetings one in NY for govt reform and one in Singapore for economic reform. . .and the subject of the meeting was for those ind. countries to state that they would back Iraq. . .in conclusion, I have been waiting for the 18th because of what I have seen going on in the news and high level meetings, and not because of the rumors in the forums. I've already learned my lesson about the rumors and dont give them much weight these days. I dont post this stuff that I think on the forum because Im just a poor old boy from Texas and dont want to get anyones hopes up on such a flimsy source as me. The topic at the meetings were stated as economic reform and I have translated that to mean the reveal, because ec. reform suggests reforming the economics and in doing so in relation to Iraq that means revaluing the dinar and making it an international currency. Anyway, thats what i really think, all frustration aside.
    Gooooo Dinar!!

that is an awesome reply. Yes we all have those frustrating moments. Glad you felt comfortable enough to vent them here, amongst friends, and then come back and say that you just needed to vent. That's what friends are for, to listen during a time of need, especially when you need to get something off your chest. Welcome to the dinar gang, as I think we have all had these moments at one time or another.

I gotta tell you, after all this anticipation and all nighters. It would be cool for it to go down today...real cool....BUT if we have a little more time before it does I want to upgrade my stash and get some more. I KNOW this is going to go and I have not been as agressive in buying as I should have been. I have enough to at least get a house (not to expensive), new car (again not to expensive) and take a few trips (business class) But being how HUGE this potential is I would really like a couple more million to set me up for life so I never have to worry about money again. So for me this will be a win/win situation. All this has done is confirm the importance and reality of what we are dealing with here.

WHERE ARE YOU LITTLE SUSIE Q?
