Poor guy, he's the unluckiest rider in the tour :(
:D
Yes I think you are right
Well... For that stage, I had to rely on the pictures & description in the papers but it was definitely one of those stories which make one doubt between pity and laughter... So sad!
From the other hand, it illustrated also the difference one's mind can make, once again, isn't it? What if he could have kept his calm and re-focus... Sometimes being a perfectionist just isn't good enough :?.
Anyway, I think one can be satisfied with the role he played in this Tour. Who would have expected the Dane in the battle untill the very end of the race? Finishing in the company of guys like Mancebo, Vino and Leipheimer remains a wonderful result.
I saw the poor sod on the news clip with him stumbling over his bike, like it was fixed with square wheels, before he fell forward on the grass verge!!!
If he doesn't get out of the team by his own principle due to incompetent technical mechanics that last fixed/delivered the last bike to him.... then there's something totally fishy with that Rabo Bank Team....for the performance staged.
