Thread: Could A Lawyer Help Us Get Info About PiPs?

It's June folks, the bank has been looking at PIPs issues for over a year now. Well what is their verdict? We all have a stake in the company, so is there a way to get straight answers from the banks investigations? Can we, should we, hire a lawyer who could get straight answers for us? I'm not trying to cause trouble here, I would just like to know what's taking the bank so long. Before PIPS was shut down, as I recall we/PIPS had hit the billion dollar range in investments. What has happened to our investments? Was that an over stated amount, or was it right on? And if it was the real amount of our investments, where are they?

What do you all think? Can we and should we hire a lawyer...the details are a different issue.

BNM is prohibited (by malaysian law) from giving out information about an ongoing investigation.

when will everyone just understand . there is no one that will get info from this as long as investigation is undergoing. Take a couple of deep breaths and relax, when it is time it will be time. This is like waiting for a baby to be born the darn kid isn't going to come out till hes damn good, and ready to. LOL. Bryan will let us know when the BNN investigation is done, and not a minute sooner . he can not . forbiden by law . OK ? Patience People . Yeah its been quite a while and many inquireries into this matter. BOB

The bank did not start investigating pips until August of 2005, so it has not been over a year. Just wanted to set things straight.

Well filistyn, I should not even reply to this, but I will. BRYAN has not dissapeared! Bryan Has come on here several times and has let everyone know HIS situation and Position and has vowed to let us know Just as soon as he gets the OK, and has someting to say to us members . If Bryan doesn't let us know for some unforseen reason, the rest of the internet naysayers, and TGers WILL LET us know! also the NEWS media will have some thing to say . And lets not forget the people that started the problems, with thier investigations, will definately will try to rub our noses in the poo! If PIPS and Bryan do not win thier case.

It is important to be correct obout the facts, so thank you choochi for the correction.

So in August it will be one year that the bank has been investagate PIPS. Should we think about the question of hiring a lawyer in August, if we have no answers by then? Any thoughts?

this has been discussed before, and the concenses is, it would not do any good! this is a sealed case, and info cannot be obtained at the moment. what is the difference in 2 or more months??? Until the investigation is over NO ONE will be able to get INFO. DUH! whew I think i will use the frying pan my self. Or maybe bang my head against the wall. LOL

That takes care of that...the question is answered! I don't know Malaysian law, so does anyone here know if there is a time limit on a sealed investagation like this?
