or even worse, they would say... Oh can I do it? Then you have to explain all that and it can become very tedious. Know what I mean? Anyhow, I'm just trying to figure it out for now... !

Tell them you're an Investment Strategist.
It sounds better than "I play HYIP gold games."

Yes, it does.... BUT then they will say, so what is an investment strategist... Then what do I say? That's the real problem, how to explain it. People are suspicious, I guess.... know what I mean? Or maybe they are just nosey.

I still want to know what to say next.! HA!

Say what you want to say and do not explain. When they ask, just tell them, "It's nothing personal but I like to be discreet about matters of my personal finances. I never know how things will turn out and I would feel responsible if someone I know ended up losing money in a venture they learned about from me."

That's a good answer... I think what I'm going to say is I live off of investments and that should be the end of it. If they ask to know more, I'll say it's too hard to explain... or I'll have to speak with my attorney first! lol... or I can always give them the ole one two punch...

    Funny,

It really comes down to one word in my opinion, "entrepreneur". Although I have been a financial consultant for years, I will rarely box myself into one category as I have several businesses, as well doing daytrading, FOREX, Arbitrage-Sports, as example. Also as a distributor for several companies, everyone in is a prospect, so I use broad term until I know why they are asking. (g)

I don't do HYIP's, regardless if they perform or not, and even if they did, in my circles of traditional business minded clients, HYIP's are well known to be all Ponzi scams, so the fastest way to destroy a business would be to mention HYIP's. (g) I admire Ponzi personally, as he did not set out to defraud investors, it just overwhelmed him in my research. LOL

    Good luck to all, Mike
