Serious Investors Newsletter Co-op?

Greetings,

Granted, not everyone on ROL is an experienced investor in traditional stocks, options, futures, eminis, commodities, FOREX, etc., but what I wanted to learn is how many here have purchased stock alert services, newsletters, tracking systems, trading software, charting services and arbitrage-sports software, etc. With all the different programs out there, we should be able to gather a ton of valuable information and bring it to the membership at a very small cost compared to each of us purchasing individually.

Simply put, we are family here through PIPS, and ROL, as well as with many other programs, so here was my thoughts. Why not form a traders club, first sharing all our resourses to membership, and secondly, start our own HYIP of sorts to set up trades just as most HYIP'S are supposedly doing, but rarely are. No doubt with the talent of many on the forum, we should be able to pool our information for the good of all members, so who would be interested in starting a group?

Simply put, I have subscribed to dozens of services over the years and then combine this data with my own and others and compare results. No doubt about it, by combining as many good solid traders who are identifying large returns and pool this information, we will all be in profit far more quickly and with not nearly the same loss as going it alone. Is anyone subscribing to any trade services and can share your success with them to us? It would be great to see how many different research companies under one cooperative membership which we all share as one. This co-op pooling strategy could help everyone earn far more than if you were trading alone. Knowledge is power.

We could then take it to the next step and form a real private investment fund, not the typical phoney HYIP's which all operate on the pyramid ponzi scheme we are all far too familiar with. This would be unique as real trades would be the foundation of group as we all know each other through one program or another, and this is a great starting point where everyone would see who is trading what, where and when. Anyone interested in pooling our knowledge and experience as one? Just fishing to see if others are serious traders, or want to be.

Although I am not subscribed to any services I think your idea of a private investment fund is a good one, considering the knowledge that many members have in different fields.
I would be very interested in joining if it were to go ahead.

It depends on how you define "serious" investor. If you mean someone who's able to risk thousands at a time then I'm out. If you mean someone who's "serious" about improving their life (and the lives of their family and friends) and the immediate world around them but may not have a lot of money to risk at one time, then I'm in.

All in all, it's a very good idea and I would like to help in any way possible.

I have gotten a ton of responses already, so I think we are onto something worth developing. As far as serious investor, this does not mean investing a ton of money, what it means is that we will offer something for everyone, as long as they are serious. (g)

The wonderful thing about pooling our knowledge and tools, resources and advice, we could form a huge database of knowledge in all areas of investing, and then once compiled, we could form next step where different levels of investments for all members, small to large, so it is fair for everyone.

I am sure we can all agree on how to set this up with all the great people we have here, so all suggestions are welcome. Let kick it around a bit and see what we can all come up with.

Wow best news I have heard for a long time, don't we all need to take all our resources and build a empire that no one can touch! we are all not stupid I think that with a lot of work we could build something great and it would be the pipsters in control not someone or something that we are waiting for ?????????????????????????????????????:banana: :beer: :party:

I think it is a great idea Mike!!! I would be up for contributing whatever knowledge I could to help us achieve success!
