Jobs Report

Labor Department released the new jobs report this morning, the number of workers filing new claims last week fell. (read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

Initial Jobless Claims:
U.S. Jobless Claims fell 4K to 570K in week ending August 29 compared to survey of a decrease by 5K; U.S. August 22 Week Continuing Claims rose 92K to 6,234,000; U.S. Week of August 22 Jobless Claims Revised to 574K from 570K.

ISM (Institute for Supply Management) Non-Manufacturing Index:
U.S. ISM August Non-Manufacturing PMI 48.4 versus July 46.4; U.S. ISM August Non-Manufacturing PMI Expected 48.0; U.S. ISM August Non-Mfg Business Index 51.3 versus July 46.1; U.S. ISM August Non-Mfg Employment Index 43.5 versus July 41.5; U.S. ISM August Non-Mfg Prices Index 63.1 versus July 41.3; US ISM August Non-Mfg New Orders Index 49.9 versus July 48.1.
