Well, I can see that my education was defective. I have always put the month first, the day second and the year third. And if you think about it you don't usually say 4 July, 2005, you say July 4, 2005.

You know, there is a difference between the European date code and the American date code.
We Europeans put the date first, second the month and the year at the end like you Americans do......... Just one of the funny differences...... ;-)

Having been in the Army for 20 years, I have always put day, month, then year. I think the reason the Army did it that way is that it saved a stroke on the typewriter by not having to utilize a comma, as in 14 Sep 2005 as opposed to Sep 14, 2005.

Now if this is the first time you are logging on to the new site you use your current username and password and in the code box you enter 0000.
If it comes up with servers are busy try again later.... try avoiding going on when the US is awake (tip)

If you have managed to log on to the new site and setup the secret question/answer and by some unfortunate mistake loose your pin or want to change your password then you can use the reset pin or password function.


Click the Members Area tag click the RESET PASSWORD tag it will take you to a page that asks you for the following details:
1) USERNAME
2) A NEW PASSWORD
3) CONFIRM IT
4) YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS REGISTERED WITH PIPS
5) YOUR PIPS PIN NUMBER
6) YOUR SECRET QUESTION
7) AND ANSWER
8)THEN AGREE after reading agreement
9) THEN RESET NOW
10) NOW YOU CAN log in with your new password.


If your pin isn̢۪t working than:

There's VERY little actually...in fact, NOT much at all but that depends on how one looks at it...anyway, WELCOME to ROLclub and I trust, you will soon be rolling ALL OVER to gain plenty of information and then understand, what the problem could be that made the Pips site temporarily, unavailable to access....in the meanwhile, have a chilled and enjoy the company of happy members and if I may, visit this link and your consideration will be most appreciated too.

The date of each post is at the top left of the post.
I need a new icon, can anyone advise; it is a chain with a handle dangling from the end. If this could be added, it would be much used!
