I don't know if the article starting this thread is honest or just manipulation
but it's clearly submerged in (or promoting) one thing: fear
one fears what one doesn't know
and fear kills communication and understanding
as the indians know
anyway
one and simple truth
or
so many aspects to consider
simplicity
or
a complex reality
short term satisfaction and egocentrism
or
long term satisfaction and holocentrism
(in all dimensions: time, territory - people,...)
pointing at the others
or
looking in the mirror
pride, black and white thinking, spiral of violence
or
peace, love and understanding
(which doesn't mean the process to get there won't be painfull... but the result should compensate for that)
we choose
@HZCHOICE, btw,
If you want to talk about facts... would you PLEASE be so kind not to abuse my country's name leave Belgium out of this discussion. There are no more cars burning anymore and the ones which did don't deserve the 'fame' you give them. There are problems with integration of immigrants which require changes on both sides. But this difficult process is definitely not a lost one. We have fortunately a responsible minister of internal affairs which doesn't humiliate even further these people feeling discriminated, so actually we're in control. And I hope you are too. Thank you.
