Have graphite shafts helped your joint pain?
At age 45 and being sports active most of my life, I have been blessed to have had very few sports injuries through the years. But last year I had a fairly significant soft-tissue injury in my wrist from martial arts. Due to misdiagnosis and an incorrect treatment plan from my local VA, it took longer than it should have to heal, per the orthopedist I recently saw. While my pain is mostly gone and I am left with just a dull ache, the doc is hopeful the remaining pain will continue to slowly subside over the coming months. But there's a chance that this has flared up some tendonitis and tensonitis that will be with me long-term.
So my question to those who have struggled with joint pain is: if you switched to graphite shafts, did you notice an improvement in your pain? And if so, how much?
