What is your aspiration in forex market? Consistency over long term period or great profit over sho

There are various types of traders or investors in the foreign currency exchange i.e. forex market. some require a great profit over short term period while some are in search for consistency over long term period. I am in the latter group. Since I believe that forex being the largest currency market is able to provide consistent money earning opportunities and thereby I believe to trade as pro trader. Traders vary in their trading objectives. Many focus on short term income strategy while some give focus on long term capital growth strategy. I prefer long term consistency in my earning since I firmly believe that forex is a highly potential investment field which can provide me versatile earning opportunities but it does not mean that i don't prefer short term profit. In case of highly volatile market situations; I try to give emphasis on smaller trading lots to earn smaller short term profit.

I used to want faster profits... as most beginners do. Over time i learned my lessons and now i'm much more wiser.

My goal now is to better understand the current market and the way i approach my trading is when do i enter to minimize my risk and protect my balance and profits.

I like a balance between long-term and short-term. I do not want to be stuck in a single investment for the rest of my life. I want to see my investment make a healthy profit. What do you guys have to say? Do you like my approach?

I will be lying to you if i said i don't look forward to great profits in forex trading. You also need to have some sort of consistency in your trading life but i would mind some losses if the eventual success is huge. I know some people will disagree with me but majority knows better.
