First Quarter GDP Growth

Economic data released today:

GDP:
Chain-Weighted Price Index rose 1.9% Rate in 1Q; Domestic Purchases Price Index rose 3.8% Rate in 1Q; Core PCE Price Index rose 1.5% Rate in 1Q; PCE Price Index rose 3.8% Rate in 1Q; Real Final Sales rose 0.8% in 1Q; U.S. GDP rose 1.8% Rate in 1Q; Compared to Consensus of an increase by 1.8%.

Initial Jobless Claims:
U.S. April 16 Week Jobless Claims Revised to 404K from 403K; U.S. Jobless Claims rose 25K to 429K in April 23 Week; Compared to Survey of a decrease by 8K.

Continuing Jobless Claims:
U.S. April 16 Week Continuing Claims fell 68K to 3,641,000.

Chicago Fed National Activity:
Chicago Fed: March NAI 3-Month Moving Average rose 0.20 versus February increase by 0.27; Chicago Fed: March National Activity Index rose 0.26 versus February increase by 0.16.

Pending Home Sales (MoM):
U.S. Pending Home Sales Index rose 5.1% to 94.1 in March; U.S. March Pending Home Sales fell 11.4% from March 2010.

Business Barometer:
DJ-BTMU Business Barometer rose 0.2% on Week in April 16 Week; DJ-BTMU Business Barometer rose 2.7% on Year in April 16 Week.
