Thread: Pearleygate Has passed Away

While in Panama Jack suffered a heart attack. He passed away while en route home to Canada.

He'll be sorely missed in PIPS. Gruff disposition but big, big heart.

My sincere condolences to the whole family.

It is with great sadness that I read the news of Jack's death. I have never had the pleasure to meet him, but I have exchanged many e-mails with him about different subjects. He was a man to remember. Just, critical at times and yes, a little gruff but always with warmth and welcome.

I wish his wife and family the strengh to get throught these difficult times.

Goodbye Jack, I'm sorry you can't be here to see the day ......
