Those spam complaints are outrageously FALSE. Please ask them to forward you an
email that they supposedly received as spam. Our server ip is . Our host is .
Please compare this information with the headers of those emails, and you'll see
that we did not send out any spam.
Our forum has been growing rapidly over the past couple months. And recently, I
have began to promote clickbank products to my members (Around 15,000 members as
you can see on our site) and guests. We have a lot of members and guests on all
the time. We have added banner ads, button ads, etc. just recently. We have also
made announcements in the forum, regarding some good products. So, as you can
imagine, our sales would be high.
The rolclub admin, and I have always had our differences, and
never really got a long, partly due to the fact that our forums rolclub and G fforums compete each
other, and because our forum is on the verge of becoming bigger than his, we have
received several threats from him. He has threated to contact our advertisers,
partners, affiliates, etc. in an attempt to deter them away from us unless we shut
down our forum. Of course, we are not going to shut down our forum because of his
threats. However, he has specifically threatened to frame us for spamming in some
fashion. We are assuming from the email you forwarded us that he has been sending
some spam out using our links to probably a select few people or probably to
accounts of his. And then making it look as if we sent it. We have no reason to,
we have a huge member base, so we don't need to resort to spam. We are extremely
anti-spam. Our sales have come from our members. He has been just probably
spamming himself or a few
people that he knows in an attempt to get to us and hurt us. (His account at
clickbank I believe is rolclubcom). If you look at the headers, you will see that
we did not send a single Spam message - not 1, ever. We simply don't need to. It's
outrageous and I am shocked to see him resort to such tactics.
Basically in these websites, there is always competition, and in attempt to shut
us down, he has resorted to such unethical tactics. Please have a look at all of
this. I'd appreciate some feedback on how to approach this situation. Do you
recommend us changing our username, should we make a new account? If so, is that
ok with the terms? Because of all this is his doing - everything is fake and done
by him and his partners/friends.
Please provide some guidance.
