Default The disaster in New Orleans, Louisiana and Missisippi

I'm a swede who visit the New Orleans in May this year for the first time in my life. And all I can say is that I love that town! Especially the French Quarters where I spend alot of time having a wonderful time. Maybe the best time in my life.

Let us all send our thoughts to all the people there who has no home left to go back to, to those who lost their relatives, to citizens who might must wait for months to go back to their hometown again.

It aches in my heart when I see and read about all the tradgedies going on in Louisiana.

I know BM would do all he can to help the victims in the US.

Perhaps us regular people can help a little via the Red Cross.

God bless all of the victims of the Katrina hurricane.

Not a single reply on my post in more than two hours. Don't you have any relatives that was hit by the hurricane? I don't blame anybody, but I think America should come together. This Katrina hurricane did not killed as many as in the 9/11 attack, but it's much worse in the meaning of that so many people lost their homes. And remember I'm a swede saying this.

Everyone in America is certianly glued to the TV watching the devistation. Everyone I talk to says it looks just like the Tsunami. I have never been to that area, but I know that it is a lot like my city, and I cannot imagine if the whole city was cut off and shut down. No work, no homes, no help, no food, no hospitals. I think the reason more people from the area are not replying is becuase they have no electricty, or they are working on their mess at their house. I am in sunny California, so I have time to get on line. I wonder though if other nations are going to help us like we always help them. People think that all Americans are rich, but we are not. We all work hard, and we pay our taxes.

Thank you for your reply. And I agree on what you say. With no electric you are unable to get online to tell.

I hope doctors and nurses and other staff from my country will come to the US and help you. Just as they did after the Tsunami. I'm almost sure they will. The swedes sure feel with the americans.

Just for curiosity, I can tell you there are more swedes in your country than in sweden it self! And with many anchestors from the late 1800's and the early 1900's as well, going to the States to find themselves a new life.

    Be safe!

    Default Disaster......

Peerperson wonders if other nations are helping out. You should read the entry in another string about how U.S. political stuborn pride is holding up aid from all over the world, I always am skeptical about there internet stories but there is some truth in it. I know that an urban medical search and rescue unit only got into the air this evening after waiting since the beginning for a request that finally came from the mayor of New Orleans. The Canadian Armed Forces disaster responce unit with a field hospital and water purifiers is still sitting on a runway waiting for approval from America to go. Money is pouring into the Canadian Red Cross. Compassion is not an exclusive American trait, the rest of the world feels your pain and is just waiting for the word to help.

    hi pmedic,

Some of us in Texas have been busy opening shelters for "refugees" from
Louisiana. I am in the Dallas area. We may not be physically able to do much, but we can buy food and give it to our local food banks and other charities. Most is coordinated through the American Red Cross. You can donate through their website.
We are sending workers --- recovery teams --- from Texas to Louisiana
and Mississippi to aid in the restoration of power, etc.
The American Navy is delivering supplies through the ports.
The long term recovery will be VERY long.
New Orleans and Mobile are MAJOR ports for international shipments. For
example, New Orleans ships over half the grain we produce and sell to other nations.
I do not think it will take as long as many in the media are predicting.

Did you see the oil rig that is caught under a bridge? That oil rig was 12 miles (over 25 km) offshore before the storm. There is damage to several
oil platforms in the Gulf. The storm caused 8 refineries to close. Four have reopened, but the other four were damaged and must be repaired.

The emphasis has been on helping the survivors. Power has been restored to areas in northern Louisiana and Mississippi. Of course, our news media tends to focus on the most negative (sensational) things they can find and neglects to tell of the progress being made.
You actually find better news on the radio.

Default Weather can be and is manipulated.

Do a little research on Nicola Tesla and HAARP. This storm went around Florida so as not to lose any momentum to go straight for peak oil under Louisiana. Gas prices have risen about .50 cents in a few days. The scenes in the south look like war zones. The mass 'shelters' can be seen as concentration camps. These people do not have any access to communication, including cell phones!! The beginning fatal statistics is only a fraction of the end result which will take weeks to months to assess and is expected to reach thousands. Besides the fatalities, so many people are displaced from their homes and businesses and face all kinds of sickness in polluted water. Martial law is going into effect 'for the good of the people. :? ' This devestation does effect everyone as everyone is connected. New Orleans and southern Mississippi have been sacrificed as the WTC was for oil, money, corruption.
There is no such thing as coincidence, everything is manipulated.

I think this last post much truth.
Coast to Coast AM had a good show on Tuesday with Richard Hoaglund [EnterpriseMission.com], and another Meteorologist who give info on How , When, Why Who.... Weather Modification is a reality and has been used a long time... Youll have to read up on Tom Beardens Work re: Scalar Tecnology and such...before you poo poo the whole thing.
Well worth your time to do so if you havent heard of any of this.
    No accidents..!

It sounds like you are saying that the government or some powerful entity guided the hurricane around Florida so that it would not lose momentum so that it would destroy all of these other places. And this was done do drive up the oil prices??!! What a bunch of freaks! I think that you have been watching too many movies and listening to the conspiracy quacks for too long :!: So, who caused the tsunami and what was the reason for that :?: I'm sure that someone has an explanation pointing at someone. Get your head out of the sand!
