Thread: Next world's richest man (Steel, Forex & Stocks, computers, Real estate)

5th richest man in the world "Laxshmi Mittal" is steel king. His wealth increased $19 billion in 1 - 2 years & his present worth is $39 billion.

"Bill Gates" wealth increased $6 billion in 2006 to $56 billion.

Mittal steel Company acquired certain % stake in Archelor steel company for $33 billion & now Archelor-Mittal Company keeps buying other steel companies.

I think "Bill gates" wealth can further increase to $100 billion dollars in next 4 - 5 years. Microsoft is a profitable company for many years to come if you consider the untapped/unexplored huge software market for China & India which have a developing economy & people here are getting rich.

Forex & stocks are highly profitable & there is high possibility the next richest man can be forex & stock investor.

Real estate prices are sky-high worldwide. Next richest man can be from real estates.

My poll question is “Which industry will create the next richest man in the world in next 4 -5 years?”

I think for next 2 – 3 years Bill Gates “richest man” position is safe.

My vote goes to “Steel industry” for the next richest man in 4 – 5 years because Steel has the strongest demand worldwide from commercial & residential development in China & India, middle-east countries such as Dubai, Russia & other developing economies.

Steel has the weight of the world on its shoulders

Some people may be thinking "next richest man" can be from Oil business. Here is my opinion-:

Alternative fuels are being developed & given importance such as "Biofuel", "Hybrid cars that run from Electricity".

Russia’s Sahklin oil project (I’m not sure of project name) has Oil reserves to feed the world’s oil requirements for 40 years. Major oil explorations are taking place in China since now Chinese economy has massive money required for oil exploration.

In future oil demand & supply should be balanced because of major oil finds worldwide. Also if “alternative fuels” are successful, future oil price will be $40 per barrel.

Also Oil reserves in oil-rich countries will exhaust/finish someday. So middle-east countries Saudi Arabia, Kuwait & others have started investing "oil-rich money" into alternative business.

Bulk of oil money is invested into Luxury residential, commercial & sporting complex. Basically oil-money is getting transfered to Steel, cement & construction products. Just have a look at luxury contructions in Dubai. Even USA high-rise buildings are no comparison to Dubai high-rise buildings. Excellent they are.

Middle-east countries will be "Hub for tourism" in near future & they truely deserve it for their hard work & future vision.

I think in future "Oil business" will not create “next world richest man” because Oil price will be somewhere $40 per barrel.

But Middle-east regions/countries will be true Rich & High-profile regions/countries.

I think forex and stocks. The number of people investing in these markets has increased a lot. Anyway, this is not going to hapen in the next 5 years. It needs a lot of time before someone passes Bill Gates.
