    Default Warning..... Agloco Virus

    WARNING,

I ended up with a trojan virus which surfaced after downloading toolbar, so I wondered if anyone else has experienced a recent virus after downloading this program? I could not even scan for virus as it disabled and locked up all my virus scan software, and it is well hidden, so anyone else having same problem.

    Thanks, Mike

Yes Mike, I had it debunked on all 4 computers after discovering it has a "pain and confrontation" with my Norton too. my Toshiba Support chap next asked: What is it did you expect this feature to serve you??? Expose who and how your configuration works and basically, its a new secret way of theirs to infringe on your insides...

Well, that DID IT...out it WENT... I can do without such nonsense creeping into my computers!!!

My systems are perfectly in ship-shape again after restoring with Toshiba's Product Restoration and not with Windows default restore date..! - creepers jeepers have no place nosing into mine...

Feels good again now...the lappy i.e. and so are the rest, all slowed down and felt like frozen too which I first thought was due to another of Windows darn updates...I was wrong, this is a bad buggar fooling about and we think we are getting top class positions with Agloco...Don't BE FOOLED!!!!

This is precisely why I did NOT download the toolbar. I just knew it was the perfect environment for viruses, spyware and adware.

Best of luck to you guys in getting things restored to normal.

I'm sorry to hear you got your computers infected Mike & Yogi, but at least you will have helped other AGLOCO members to be wary of the same. I haven't had to reload my computer due to viruses in over 5 years, but that's because I am a freaky freak when it comes to computer security; it's like Fort Knox in my hard drive.

    Take care,

That's unfortunate to have discovered this ALL talk, global praising humbug which was a doomer for all the supporters netted into this devilish Agloco menace it turned out to be...

I think we both safely survived unscathed less some grunts... but lets hope, members will now be wary of this cunning manipulation and strike out that bug with whatever and ASAP...

    Exclamation AVG anti-virus

I know that I’m going to hate myself for this, but here goes…

Get a GOOD anti-virus program. I have been using and loading AVG anti-virus program (yep they have a FREE version) to my and all my customs computers for years. It finds and kills viruses that Norton and the others can find our even see.

Second down load their AVG Anti-spy ware. It gives you a FREE 30 trial version. This is worth the small amount of funds requested. It really works!

Third, download “C-Cleaner” and run this program after EVERY session of the Internet. This programs not only cleans the hidden temp files, but helps clean out virus & spy programs before they can launch from your temp Internet viewing files on your computer. This program is FREE!

Forth, download and install the FREE version of Zone Alarm! Disable the Microsoft version of a firewall as it IMHO useless compared to Zone Alarm.

    Now you’re protected!

You know, I did have a feeling this Agloco thing being hyped up was just another spyware tool.

Default EMMUNIZE EMMUTEC MALWARE and SPYWARE PROTECTION

    Interesting,

Trying to stay on top of the best computer protection is not as easy as it once was. I have used them all, Norton, McAfee, AVC and TrendMicro over the years, and having gotten hit again two weeks ago, wiped out my documents and pictures, I started to again research the latest greatest protection. Check out Emmutec, claims to be the best, and as newcomer, I am trying it out having given up on the others.

    Success to all, Mike
