Thread: HAWAII DVD Update

Have just received the following email re Hawaii DVD:

Dear *****

I am sending this update due to the events that has taken place at PIPS in the last few weeks.

I have received about 1/4 of the picpay amount to produce these set a while before PIPS had the current difficulty. Gary Nichol assured me the day before he left that he will be able to get the rest of the DVD funds to me. Well, that did not happen. I have with some of my own money bought and paid for licencing, fedex of ******* to LA,carried weeks of capturing and editing, run up a huge phonebill to Malaysia to try and get the funds out. Unfortunately it did not happen, and we don't know if it is going to.

That leaves me with the following: Would you please be so kind in answering one of the questions below and I will make a judgement from your answer.

Question 1: I would like a refund of my picpay if/when picpay returns to business.

Question 2: I would like to keep my order status as it is right now, and when you do receive my picpay funds ship it as normal.

Question 3: I would like to pay for my DVD set through another means of payment, egold, stormpay and take delivery when it is completed. (These sets I will do on order and will be shipped a few days after funds are received)

PLEASE NOTE: THIS EMAIL DOES NOT APPLY TO MEMBERS WHO PAID FOR THEIR DVD'S VIA STORMPAY OR PAID CASH AT THE CONVENTION. YOU WILL RECEIVE YOURS SOON.

I apologise once again for this nitemare situation, but we all know the circumstances.

Please answer ASAP.

I think it is hard that Luke has had to carry so much of doing the DVDs - I know it is not possible for some people, but it would be great if as many as can might consider supporting him by paying by another means. To me he was not a "merchant" in the normal sense - this was something that was approved and supported by Bryan, and done on behalf of the pips "family"

This is my experience too and I fully agree in view of the position Luke and his company for being "partially" commissioned by BM to overseee the filming and eventual release as a copyright production, be caught up feeling "dried out".

PI Inc is the responsible body for ANY arrangements and all costs related to it albeit separate or directly, that involved Luke's expense sheet.

However, one just cannot imagine "plucking any feathers" from an already "naked rooster" ....can you??? :roll: :shock:

I will soon be calling Luke for a separate CC payment arrangement and like I previously admit, if the "money" is gone (this case dealing with the Merchant fiasco setups), consider it a goodbye gift to PIPS.

My reply to him was to just keep the picpay and send the DVD if he ever gets the money, but I'm not that bothered either way.

Most of the things covered in the DVD are now irrelevant anyway, given the current situation and circumstances.
