Default Is anyone interested in a REAL investment?

I am pondering setting up an investment club, with real livre investments, and wondered if anyone was interested.

Some of the things that would make it uinlike a HYIP

I won't run off with your money. Marek has information with which he could find my home address, where I have lived for 10 years.

We will not pay a daily rate, nor will you be able to withdrawal daily, typically onec a month you will be given a chance to withdrawal your profits only, during a cetain time window.

Capitol cannot be withdrawn momre than once every six months.

I am in the US, so I will need a tax ID number when you join.

I will publish the funds holdings, and cost basis weekly, so you can see where the money is.

Holding will be in US mutual funds, equities and bonds. No gaming around with FOREX and other stuff that's really just not a good investment for a non-pro to do. I may invest up 10 10% of the fund into short term commodidties for speculation.

This is an investment club, and all members will hold legal title to a pro-rata share of the holdings.

All withdrawals will pay a 3% fee, and will be sent by check only. (no E-gold to hack, etc..)

Anyhow, I thought some people might be interested in a fund where they know what's going on, and know they'll be paid.

    Any interest?

    G

There are a couple of restriction for me off the bat:

    1. Living in the Philippines as an American, I cannot accept check payments as they are very unsafe here and I no longer have a US bank acct.
    2. The limitation of once every six month withdrawals maybe ok, but a small window only? What is the time frame of that window?
    3. Why a high of 3% withdrawal fee?
    4. What is the minumum deposit/investment?

    Thank you,

    peterben

There are some sites that are fun, besides interesting. One of them is a new kind that challenged me to get in.

Another one is a HYIP and a third a new kind of surf program. As they all are different in some way, shape and form, I entered all three.

Are they worth it? So far I am happy and find them ok. The investment in all can be low, so there is no problem in losing and one can slowly start increasing in the Hyip with what you earn, rather than your own.

Try them, you may like them. I do.

The three percent will go to administer the fund, any leftover amount will be fed back into the returns. A serious investment means the money is left to grow, thus the 6 month capitol requirement, I'm looking at a minimum investment of $100, with $50 month contributions This is not a HYIP, and you can't think of it as one, it's a serious investment club. To be legal, everyone has to have some say in the investments chosen, and I cannot make anything off of it beyond any returns on my own contributions, I intend for this to be a legal US entity.

I also think the rules require we have no more than 100 members, have to talk to a series 7 broker to get some details.

The 3% fee is also where "the fund" makes money. If their are expenses, and there will be, it pays them, but whatever is not used it re-invested into the general fund. It penalizes you for taking money out, but benefits everyone who stays in. You will not get rich fast this way but, depending on your age, you will get righ slowly this way almost every time

    Default I am interested

Member 99 I like the idea and want in too. If I was you I would look into all the legalities to make sure you cover your basis. A lawyer should be reviewing what you will need so we are left alone and funds stay unfrozen. I obviously have had a bad experience. Anyway, I live in the U.S. and want to be included in your program.

Well, we'll have lawyers, I have no desire to go to jail, All income will be market drive, expect in a good month to get 8-9 % and being highly encouraged to keep it in. There is a provision in US law for private investment clubs, but the rules are kind of strict, of course being reguated, you won't lose money when the Admin ups and goes to Jamaica on you, but you also won't get reffferrels and make 2% per day. I would keep a websaite up that shows the assetts held by the club, nad the units they are divided into, so you can see on any given day where your units are and how much they're worth. The actual accounts would be in a reputable brokers (I'm thinking ScoT Trade or Edward Jones, but that's a sway off yet.) Want to emphasize, we will highly encourage you to let you accumulated profits and dividends re-invest, the real way to wealth is slow growth in dividend paying large cap stocks.
