"How to trade on earnings reports? 👨*💼


As any other market, Forex has seasons. Every 3 months, the biggest companies of the US release their earnings reports, and boom! - party time. Traders love these peaks because they create fluctuations on both stock and currency markets. Here are some tips on how to set up a great trade based on the seasonal influences.


✅ The seasons are January, April, July, and October. Each season lasts several weeks.
✅ Visit FBS website a couple of weeks ahead of the earnings season: we post analytics that will give you an idea of what might happen next.
✅ If you want to invest in stocks around this time, analyze it first. Google “X company investor relations” and see the track record of its reports.
✅ Watch the market at the moment of the release. The bigger the difference between the actual reading and the forecast, the bigger the movement of the market.
✅ Use special technical indicators to get a bigger picture. For example, RSI can tell you if the market is overbought or oversold.

Next season will start in late January when Amazon, Facebook, and some other large American companies post their releases. Stay tuned to get timely notifications and ideas!

"First steps with Meta Trader ��*♂��


1. Launch your Meta Trader terminal and log in
2. See the columns in the lower right corner are green and blue? It means you’re now connected and can start.
3. Go to Tools - New Order
4. Set the parameters of your trade: the asset (Symbol in MT), the size of your position (Volume), Stop Loss and Take Profit, and the type of the order (market or pending).
5. Party time!
6. To close the order, highlight the trade in the Trade tab of the terminal, right-click and select “Close Order”.
